I wish the bathrooms were cleaner and the beds weren’t very comfortable. I didn’t think this was as good as a value as outside of the city because the rural hostels are way nicer for sometimes cheaper or equal to the price of this one.

I thought the staff woman was super friendly and helpful. Also the location was amazing I parked at the hostel and walked everywhere.

Most of the w.c. options were sub-par. Some of the showers were unusable (broken, hazardous, cold water only).

The location was excellent for the activities we wanted to do in Reykjavik. We were able to walk everywhere we needed.

The wifi did not work very well in the rooms (but it did in the restaurant/hallway/common areas). When we first got there it was a little confusing to find the correct entrance (it's on the back side of what from a distance looks like a government building, but don't worry there are signs on the doors to help you).

The property has a modern feel/design, and the bathrooms despite being shared are *absolutely* spotless (and there are enough facilities that you don't have to worry too much about waiting in line in the mornings). The beds were comfy, the room was reasonably quiet, the owners were kind and gave us all the info we needed upon checkin. Really nothing to worry about, this is a definitely a great choice for a one-to-a-few nights' stay!

I ordered a room with two single beds and one bunk beds, only room with two bunk beds was available, much smaller than the one i booked too, booking.com and the hostel were saying it was the other party’s mistake for the wrong booking. The lady at the hotel offered me to cancel for free (not doable as last minute prices of hotels in Reykjavik on friday are way too high) or stay in a double room (4 of us 😂). I would have expected a better approach, they could have offered discount for example. The beds were loud when you moved or the other person, so a very bad sleeep. The whole place is huge, security cameras all over, showers with not very nice curtains, the only place i didnt like in iceland.

Great place, clean, quiet during night, with comfortable bed and large windows providing light to the rooms! I enjoyed my staying there! The hosts are very polite and helpful, I had everything I needed. Undoubtedly recommended!

It was so cold cause the main door was open the whole day. The lobby was in the middle of the building, very dark and no windows and at the same time the only common room but not cozy at all. The receptionist was friendly but didn’t speak any English?!

don’t feel welcoming and no explanation about common area etc. check in and show your room. stayed at different hostels/guesthouses in Iceland, this one was subpar. room cleanliness is questionable and smell weird in the facility.
