I liked that I was able to check in on my own since I was arriving very late. This was my main concern when booking this hostel and they accommodated to my situation. The room was quiet and pleasant. The bathrooms were very clean

Some mornings you’ll have to fight for the bathroom. Lots of people, few bathrooms. The heat is cranked up so rooms are really hot, even in Icelandic winter.

Very clean and spacious room. Great price for such a convenient location. Common space are huge, kitchen amenities are great too. Seems like a great place to stay with a big group of friends.

One thing that was frustrating was that although nearly never half full, guests were not allowed to sit in the entry lounge without paying.

I really enjoyed the location, price for value, and security. The staff was friendly, and they stored luggage for free, which was very nice. I also liked the common rooms and areas that were available to eat, chill, or work.

There was 4 of us a family room and it was quite hot, no way to turn down the heating.

We only stayed one night before our flight home. It was perfect. There is free parking and walking distance form restaurants and bars. The hostel was also very quiet.

The room was super modest, we barely had place for two people. They should at least provide a night table and some spots where one can hang the wet towels or jackets.

It has everything you need for a short / long stay. We liked the kitchen areas and the big options for toilets. The location is also great and price also quite good. The free parking is great

- No personal locker (I understand it is Iceland and people do not know theft here but people staying are often not from Iceland so it would be an improvement to have some personal storage area) - You can hear a little bit people in the corridor if they are staying on tables next to the room and are talking late at night. Although it was not a big disturbance, it was a bit annoying. Maybe some areas should be indicated as silent after certain hours?

Some guests were noisy and weren't thoughtful of others, but they had nothing to do with the place itself.

The staff was amazing, either in the reception and the cleaners as well; everyone was kind and if I had some kind of problem, it was immediately solved. I met some awesome people there.

The hostel is easily accessible, and the bathrooms and toilets are very spacious! This pricing is definitely reasonable compared to other places in Iceland. The staff are quite friendly too. I enjoyed the stay here.

It is pretty noisy during the night. The building was something else before being a hostel… maybe a hospital or a student dorm?! Don’t know for sure though. The conditions inside the room are fine for a short stay… however, i felt like everything was pretty dusty. The windows in our room were old and wind was blowing here and there which made us move the beds to another direction. It’s fine overall but it consider it as a budget solution.

The location is very good, 3-4 mins away from the big church. They also have a private parking just in front which is a big +. Quality/price ratio very good for those who need just 1 night or for a short stay.

Too many rooms on the number of shared toilets. Toilets must Be cleaned and desinfected more often.

The location is perfect, only 3 Minš wall from the church and 10-15 from pick up locations. The staff is amazing. They meet all my requests and more. The room is clean and bed is comfortable.

The toilet, shower, and kitchen facilities felt as though they were shared by many people. They were clean and well looked after but busy at times.

Great location to easily explore Reykjavik, the privacy twin room was very reasonably sized and the staff were very friendly and informative. There was a sink in the room which was very helpful and there was plenty of space and storage for clothing/luggage.
