The room was not cleaned properly. need to ask for a broom to sweep the floor. During the night (as we are on ground floor) there is someone vigorously knocking and asking as to response on the window pass midnight. Pretty annoying really. Wifi was easy to log in but super wear cant even use.

Sometimes it's noisy because other neighborhoods are chatting or drying their hair in the midnight.

There are so many facilities in the kitchen, and also includes many restrooms and toilets. Also with free parcking lots, and close to the public swimming pool and some tourist attractions. Great!

Someone else was checked in by mistake in my bed while I was out during the day, but the staff gave us a room by ourselves to fix the issue, and it was really kind as we really enjoyed having a private space

Lovely hostel in a very central location. It has a very nice atmosphere. The staff are great. Kitchen and bathrooms are clean. There’s a heated swimming pool complex next door which is perfect lap swimmers like myself. WiFi is good. Overall a very good experience. Highly recommended.

The room/bed assigning is a mess. Upon coming back in the evening you can find your bed occupied by someone else and your clothes that were left on the bed are in storage, put there by housekeeping

The location is perfect, right at the heart of Reykjavik. The facilities are well kept and spacious. Beds are comfortable, staff members are nice. For this price in Iceland it is a gem

The metal bunk beds were a bit wobbly, so you feel when the other person moves or gets in/out of bed. Mattress was okay, a bit thin. Sometimes happy noisy people outside the dorm in the common area, earplugs helped.

Great location just behind Halgrimskirkja. Small kitchen for tea/coffee/microwaved food on each floor and big kitchen for proper cooking downstairs. Very clean and safe with coded locks on dorm doors and entrance. Lots of space in common rooms. Friendly staff. Free parking behind the hotel and locked luggage room for early arrivals/late departures. Good value for money, would stay there again.

Very basic rooms with bunk beds in the classic style of old hostels. but everyone in iceland is the same.

Not enough clothes hanger in room. in one bathroom, the shower is only for hot water.

Location is near the church, bus stop no. 8, walkable to downtown Reykjavik, bathroom is beside the room.

Nothing really. Maybe just the Wifi not being great if you are in the rooms on the extreme corners of the building.

Location, staff and comfiness of the beds were great. Got upgraded to a 5beds room instead of a 8 as initially booked. I asked if it would be possible to reserve a lower bed due to a minor injury and they were reactive right away and made sure I get one. Upon arrival there were a note on a lower bed reserved under my name. That is amazing service. Bathrooms and showers were non stop cleaned. I feel they clean twice a day. Of course it is used by many people and can become quite messy at time but overall for a hostel it was super clean.

Unfortunately, not clean enough. The staff count on the guests, so the result is not satisfying. It's a point to be improved. No lamps next to the beds. In the twin room there should be more shelves, cabinet and hangers on wall/door for jackets.

Nice place, not far to the bus station and the center (further walk distance). Kitchen fully equipped. Quiet, rather clean.

tbh., i dont know if its a social hostel. Just stayed one night after a late arrival flight.

• Easy free parking • late check in possible • beautiful wall paintings • despite shared bathroom, no waits and very nice couples shower (big with 2 rainshowers next to each other)

The staff was very kind and helpful, I had the chance to meet one Greek guy and one Spanish girl that work there and they were really nice and we could share a bit of how it feels to live in Iceland as the reason why I stayed here was because I needed some time to find an accommodation. There is free coffee :D the kitchen is a bit small and there’s not really much space to cook at least that I saw. They let me leave the luggage there for free until late afternoon when I could pick it up. Everything was fine I would definitely book again
