Spa is way too small for hotel capacity. Changing rooms in ladies for about 40 people but spa would only accommodate 12 at most comfortably. Same with showers-they were lovely but far too much space used. Only 4 hanging chairs so nowhere else to sit. Not enough information or advice given at arrival. Cleaning of rooms not up to standard - the surfaces of tables not cleaned. 1st day carpet not vacuumed. Not enough towels for 4, only replaced with 3

Fabulous hotel. Honestly, the staff are amazing, particularly the reception ladies and the conceirege desk. Super helpfl and always smiling. Rooms were clean and nice, they have a decent gym and really nice spa. Spa access is not always included with the booking so do check as this is something not to miss out on. I didnt have the chance to try the breakfast so cannot comment on this. It is around 15 mins walking distance from the center, and most of the tours do pick ups from this hotel location as well, which is great.

I really enjoyed my stay and am looking forward to staying again. What I really appreciated about my stay: It was very clean The 24 hour reception had actual staff present in person The bed was very comfortable I loved the wireless phone chargers on the nightstand The room was lovely and warm There was loads of free parking I was very happy about the mini fridge, the mirrors and the large window in the room I would suggest they update the tv to a smart tv that I can sign-in to own my streaming services/netflix or use Chromecast as the tv channel reception was very poor and often unwatchable. Overall it was an excellent stay.

very busy touristy hotel with lots of coach parties blocking up the reception areas and entrance to lifts etc. Bedroom was very basic and quite old fashioned and bed was quite uncomfortable

The spa opening hours are rather short, but we just had to miss out on that.

Parking, across the road opposite the hotel, was free and we always found a space. It's close to the coast and the Grótta Lighthouse, which is where we were told to go and see the aurora on our first night in Iceland, which worked out perfectly.

The free upgrade and the panoramic suite with the view. Also there were a lot of amenities in the bathroom which most hotels don’t offer. Example of amenities include razor, comb, sewing kit, slippers, toothbrush, etc. The breakfast was very good and had a lot of choices!

I wish the room was a bit bigger.

The hotel was very clean and the staff were amazing. They were beyond helpful and so friendly. The restaurant food was SO GOOD! I would absolutely stay there again.

The spa was very underwhelming for a hotel called "Hotel Ísland – Spa & Wellness Hotel". It consists of a sauna (which was broken during my stay) and 2 indoor hot tubs. It wasn't bad, I was just expecting more. Also, the breakfast was a bit lacking in variety for a 4 star hotel.

I booked the large room on the top floor and it was huge and had great views of Reykjavik. Everything was very clean and new.
