We loved everything here. It was probably the best place we stayed at while visiting Iceland. The host was very welcoming and full of useful tips. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Very friendly and helpful host, cosy common area and well equipped kitchen, very clean and cosy room, only 2 minutes walking distance to the harbor. Make sure to stay for several nights as there is lots to do in the area: Whale watching, the whale museum, hiking, a great bath with a stunning view on the bay, even to Mývatn it's only a 40 minute drive!

We had to reach the kitchen by the outside and with the bad weather that was not the best. Other rooms were in the main house (with the kitchen) so it might have been better to choose one of those (with a separate bathroom). I think that the supplement for a room with a bathroom did not worth it. Otherwise everything was great.

The bed was super confortable and the owner was very nice. Beautiful hotel in the center of the city.

To go from our room to the kitchen we had to go outside, so a bit uncomfortable, but it was the only room with this characteristic.

Located in the heart of husavik the hostel offers a well equipped kitchen with a nice shared dining area, plus very helpful and friendly staff.

The vibe of recycling and consciousness of environment is very nice, the communal area and kitchen is very inviting and a big bonus to have access to while traveling, the host is very helpful and engaging. Big bonus is the patio outside also with a bench to enjoy the bird singing. Highly recommended.

It was very near to the busstop. Very nice and beautiful house and everything (Wale Watching, a nice Café, Museum etc.) is in a short walking distance. The owner is very nice and kind! had many great talks with her :) And the min. 2-night stay is in terms of exploring Húsavík and because of ecological reasons a great idea.

The room was very small, making the stay inconvenient for two people. Additionally, the hostel is located opposite a commercial building complex and the view is not nice. Our experience during check-out was particularly negative. We had vacated our room on time by 10 a.m., with only our luggage left in a separate common room. When we went to collect it, another lady (possibly the owner) told us very rudely and in an inappropriate tone that check-out was already over. The customer friendliness unfortunately was lacking.

The hostel was clean and the kitchen was adequately equipped. The Italian receptionist gave us a very friendly welcome.

Would benefit from bigger pillows / more pillows. Also there was a very strong smell in the hot water of sulphur (like eggs) which permeated most of the building. Appreciate its normal where the hot water comes straight from springs, but the smell really was noticeable, even from our room, and knocked us a bit queasy sometimes.

Great communal spaces, fantastic location right on the harbour. Very comfortable and cosy, with wonderful staff.

It was bit strange to stay in the entire hostel by ourselves. And it was really cold when we got in. We also did not expect to pay for towels.

The host and the common room was nicely decorated.

The noise in the single room was disappointing, as the floors are hard and sound carries. The room is downstairs by the bathroom and the only other room there, is the bunk room so there are many people opening doors.

The location was lovely as its in a residential street, and the Green credentials were exemplary. The fridge and storage areas for personal food were large, well labelled and easy to access.

Cozy little house with great staff. We really liked their ecological views, waste separation, signs for turning off lights etc. Nice kitchen and dinning area. Definitely would come back!
