modern, clean, comfortable, extremely helpful staff, free parking, 4 mins walk from the whale watching sites. The receptionist on the night we visited told us exactly where to go for the northern lights, and because of her we were able to catch them! good breakfast as well!

The gentle and good information regarding what to do around Husavik, when asked at the front desk. For seniors, you should include breakfast, always.

The restaurant was full most of the time, and they didn't have a waiting list. We were advised to just "come back," and see if a table would become available. The most frustrating thing was that our car was towed the first night. We arrived after dark and didn't see the faint yellow X painted on the space where we parked. Even in daylight, the X was barely visible. The hotel should take some responsibility for this- either asking the city to mark the space more clearly or by asking guests for their license plate number. The next night, we saw that someone else was parked in that spot, and we felt bad for them.

The restaurant and bar staff were friendly and informative. The room had an incredible view. I appreciated the huge windows. It was easy to walk to the harbor and shops.

Breakfast restaurant itself is far from comfortable for normal guests as the conference style set-up with huge tables doesn't befit the privacy one expects for breakfast as a couple.

Ok hotel close to the harbor where all the buzz is. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast food is good.

The hotel overlooks a car park and residential area and a school. There is no fjord or sea view. The dining room is enormous but it is a conference hotel.

Lovely, helpful staff from reception, bar, dining room combined with a tranquility made it an enjoyable stay. Husavik is a large village/small town and the hotel is centrally located. Breakfast was excellent.

My only complaint is small - the hotel needs to figure something out with the hot water containers as they were routinely empty - they are too small.

We were given a room with a fantastic view of the Husavik church and Harbor. Husavik is small so everything was within walking distance of this hotel. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast and dinner we had at the hotel were both excellent.

Not enough dietary restrictions friendly options at breakfast. If you happen to have some unlucky combo like lactose + gluten intolerance then they have less options then other hotels we've been to.

Clean, new (I was surprised it was supposed to be 3 stars. I thought it had a feel of a 4 star hotel). Nice big lobby, Friendly helpful staff, nice big hotel restaurant.
