Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThey’re undergoing a remodel so understand the construction. Some of the bathrooms flooded partially when showering. Also when I got checked in, there were no fresh sheets on my bed. Had to wait another 30 minutes for someone to come by. They were fully booked so I didn’t want to complain to management and get the housekeeper in trouble. Also the breakfast was overpriced for what I got.
Cool ambiance inside. Decent for the price

DenmarkRude lady on reception, who gave unhelpful one word answers to the most simple of questions when trying to check-in.... That was when she wasn't stuffing her face with popcorn from the machine.
Great location, nice bar, and solid facilities for the price. The open courtyard was really cool where there was a live band playing.

AustraliaNoisy gigs with bad sound proofing. Guests should be notified if there will be gigs and people yelling after midnight. The room is also way too small for luggages when it’s fully booked.
Lovely staff and good location. It is also pretty comfy once I’m in the bed.

PortugalWhen they have live concerts at the bar it gets very loud; there's no lift; bathrooms are only cleaned once a day and after 8 in the morning, so if you want to have a late or very early shower you might find a not so clean bathroom; breakfast buffet is not that good.
Great place for solo travellers, you feel safe and get to meet people from all over the world. I stayed in room 413 (6-bed female dorm) and I think the 4th floor is better than the 3rd (even if going up 4 floors with no lift is a bit of a pain). There's plenty of private bathrooms, you sometimes need to wait for a little while, but it's fine (just bring flip-flops because the floor gets really wet from the shower), there's a hairdryer in the common shower room. There's a kitchen and a laundry room. The bar on the 2nd floor is large and normally full of people in the evening. Live music sometimes can get loud, but it has a good vibe. The breakfast buffet is not worth the price. Staff was very international and nice. They are undergoing renovations at the moment and the front door is hard to find, don't worry if the entrance is a bit dodgy, once you get in, you'll like it. Check out the reviews on Google maps for photos.

SerbiaI liked the atmosphere. Especially the Greek receptionist Stratos. He is very helpful and kind. Open to assist you with any questions. Breakfast is ok, basic offer. Bar is good. Currently they are under renovation. Facilities are old but the service is good. Special greetings to Stratos, the best receptionist.

United StatesThere's no elevator, and if you have a heavy bag, it's really difficult to get it up the stairs. Although the view in the distance is great, you are directly above a gas station, too.

CanadaThe main lounge area closed at 11PM once that closed there wasn't a lot of places to sit and chill/eat; would love for the area to stay open as a chill spot especially since you cannot bring food into your room.
Lovely Hostel. We stayed in a private room and it was perfect. Comfortable bed, great art, the Hostel vibe was wonderful. Super central as well. Loved that there was a good kitchen, cafe, laundry, bar, and outdoor bar. Also, the "shared" bathrooms were single stalls so that was awesome. Would recommend and stay again.

CanadaNot much. It would have been nice to have a toaster oven or something to heat up the waffles or some of the breads that don't fit in a conventional toaster, but that is minor.
