But I was so upset that someone picked up my food bag from the kitchen. Including my medicine and my cardless headphones. I'm very sorry about that. But one thing that is very special is that the management of the hostel is very good. And it was great to meet their customers

They do not provide towels. They sometimes have concerts on weekends which is great, but also can be heard in the rooms, which may not be ideal if you have an early flight.

The breakfast was very reasonably priced (1200isk), which came with a good range of buffet options. Everything was really clean, and my room looked onto the water. Entertainment in the evening was also a cool addition!

I don’t know if it’s possible but maybe more variety on food options. Also there was one day where there was no toilet paper in either stalls which was not fun.

Atmosphere was great. All the live events they had some nights were very cool. The dining area is very cute and retro.

One of the receptionists (an old lady with green eyes and greyish hair) can barely speak English and could be rude when she doesn't understand you, which is NOT nice.

The bed sheets are very used and had holes in them. it is loud if you can’t sleep through noise it will be hard to fall asleep.

Some of the bathrooms could maybe do with a deep clean to get rid of the smell, but they were still clean compared to a of hostels.

The bed was comfortable, the showers were good, and the main lounge/bar area was very enjoyable with cheap beer (for Iceland) and good pizzas.

Big hostel full of groups which made it a little bit harder to meet other travelers. Kitchens were small and very basic. At night it was really loud and there was music playing until midnight. Bathrooms were a little bit gross simply due to the high ratio of guests to bathrooms but clean enough.

Easy to find, walkable to Reykjavik highlights, convenient (paid) parking outside, nice bar area, very chill staff.

The women's bathroom on the 3rd floor was out of toilet paper the evening of the 29th and the next morning. Yes, there were other bathrooms available, but it seems silly not to replace the toilet paper in the bathroom just because there are other bathrooms.

Breakfast was great! I was really impressed by the cleanliness on my first stay, which was Wednesday, May 25th.

I think for the money everything was pretty good. It would be better if towels were provided but I can't really fault this place.

Great location with nice communal areas and a great bar. Good for meeting people if you're a solo traveller. Staff were super helpful and friendly. I'll definitely stay here again.

I know its a hostel and its our second time there (the first was in early 2020) and the vibe was so different. It was noisy even at 10pm, there were people all over the place and plenty of locals come to the bar for a drink. Probably just too messy for me. But then again, its the new age so things have changed.

Reception staff was excellent and room was comfy enough. Concrete floor was freezing cold though so bring your own slippers.

Reception stuff could be friendly and polite (i think need improvement), no shower gel on the bathrooms available, very very small towels ( instead of towel i got a face towel... upsss), Reception staff not flexible at all ( i asked several times to ask for changing the bed (even was free for days).

Nice and friendly atmosphere, great bar with terrace, clean bathrooms. Big fridge's and many cutleries, every bad have lap. City maps available at the reception.

Great location, good value. Had pizza and beer every night at the bar. Enjoyed the morning breakfast- we were able to make sandwiches for lunch for our day tours.
