Great location and the view is fantastic. We saw whales and a seal from the balcony and the sound of the waves is so relaxing. The only negative point was that the view from the bedroom windows was affected by dirty and/or failed glazing. However, we still really enjoyed our stay. 😀

There is a smell in the bathroom. The host tried his best to solve this issue with sented sticks and candles throughout the apartment so it didn't bother me that much. I also couldn't find the light switch for the ceiling lamps in the bedroom. You see lights hanging on the ceiling but can't find the switch. There were other standing lights which we could use though so also not a big problem at all

I absolutely loved the apartment! It is located on a cliff in a quiet place. Yes you have neighbours but you will only see/hear them at the front of the house. The backside looks out over the sea. Great spot to see the northern lights. As with many apartments you don't see the host throughout your stay. I like that. Your door opens with a code. All basic necessities can be found in the kitchen, also a series of books to read and a telescope to watch the stars or birds, boats at sea. The apartment is very spacious with many places to sit. Unfortunately we only stayed 1 night. I would love to come back and stay for a week and settle on the couch with a book :-)

Bathroom had a smell, maybe from sulfur water? A plug in room freshener was provided and we plugged into the bathroom as well as bought a small room freshener which took care of smell.

Beautiful view of the ocean. We saw great view of aurora the last night we were at property, was cloudy up until then. And saw a lone seal one morning. Good location for visit of Snaefellsnes peninsula. Kitchen well equipped and clean, and everything very nice. Easy checkin, instructions clear and got into property fine.

All the beds were in the same room. It was a bit strange for the size of the place.

The apartment has an amazing view with a terrace to the sea. The telescope was a nice touch to watch the wild life (we saw a sea lion!). The place was clean and spacious. Great coffee machine. There were some provisions left by either the owners or other guests.

The view is amazing, its right on the ocean and based on a cliff. The village is cute and fun to walk around.

One of the most stunning views we’ve ever experienced. Panoramic ocean views off the deck and Incredible sunset light on Snaeffelse out the front. Nice setup for parents and teens with large split bedroom with partial wall between sections.

The apartment is spatious and very functional. A lot of kitchenwear, incl a good coffee machine, CDs, books, etc. The deck on the ocean is beautiful, at high tide we were regularly visited by a couole of Grey seals, but it was a nice spot to look at birds (Eiders with chicks, Artic terns, various gulls incl glaucous, redshank, starling, etc etc). The position is great to visit the central/western part of the peninsula.

The door handle to go to the patio was a bit tricky so we didn't dare go out too often. The view from inside was still beautiful

The lack of seperate bedrooms and the relatively small variety of kitchen equipment.

A perfect starting location to visit the beutiful landscape and sights of the peninsula. As its name indicates, a spectecular ocean view, if you are lucky, you can spot some seals and the northern light from the balcony. Roomy, clean, a good choice overall.

Property was a little dated but for our short one night stay it was more than fine. Kitchen was decently stocked for making a simple meal! Please note there is no grocery store in this little town, although there is one about 10-15 min drive away, make sure you check the opening hours! Because there’s also no restaurants open too late either!!

The view the view the view!! Come during the summer and be able to sunset and sunrise within hours of each other!! Property was a little dated but had plenty of character with books, games, music! NO TV though for those who it matters!!

This was a fabulous apartment! The location right on the water was absolutely amazing! Plus, it is located on the northwest tip of the Snaefellsnes peninsula, making it a perfect resting point if you are driving up from Reykjavik and driving clockwise around the area. The apartment was HUGE! Everything was clean and comfortable. We loved it and hope to come back again someday!

Very nice accommodation, immersed in an atmosphere of comfort. I especially liked the soft and warm bed, the collection of CDs with a player and a lot of interesting and colorful books. The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable staying. Highly recommend and hope to come back again
