Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Bathroom was very small with no space to place your soap, etc. and when showing water gets everywhere in the bathroom.
All staff members were extremely helpful with all of our questions, giving recommendations on restaurants, transportation, etc. and willing to help make arrangements when needed.

The bathroom is a little small. There is no parking on site, but there are plenty of parking lots nearby. They are rated P1, P2, and P3. All are nearby. P1 being the most expensive.
This is a perfect location, as it is in the heart of the city center. We walked to everything in the center. There are lots of restaurants and bars in the neighborhood. Breakfast is more of a continental layout, but it served our purpose. We were on the 5th floor, so we had a harbor view.

Bathroom shower was very small and nothing to contain the shower water. Might be this method is normal in that area of town.
Very convenient, staff was very friendly and helpful. We could use other Center Hotels in the city to use their bathroom facilities for free - very nice.

A lot of noise from near by late night clubs / pubs until 2:30 / 3am. room was very tight, stubbed my toe a couple of times getting out of bed. Could do with drawers or shelves for clothes.
The location was very central and easy to find. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The room was clean and comfortable, but on the small side. It did have a great view to the courtyard in back, but we wished for just a bit more space.
The location is excellent! It's convenient to everything in town, with lovely restaurants just a short walk away and other attractions within walking distance. Breakfast was very good, and the desk manager was exceptionally friendly and helpful. I would totally stay here again.

Noise from our opposite
great location - bit noisy early evening from pub oposite. Asked for early breakfast which was fine with good coffee. Nice comfortable room and friendly helpful staff

Small bathroom and our room was on the street side, with the Irish bar across the street. It was loud!
Excellent location. Breakfast was well-appointed. The room was small, especially the bathroom, but fit our needs. Faruque was so helpful and friendly. He arranged a taxi to the airport for us and was available for all questions.

Very noisy from the Irish Pub across the street. I know not your fault but might stop me from staying there if I ever get back. The bed itself was comfortable except there was no top sheet. The large very warm comfortable blanket was too heavy for me. I wish there would have been a top sheet. I woke up several times sweating under the very heavy weight of the blanket.
The breakfast was great. Nice mix of hot and cold foods available. Looked forward to starting my day with your breakfast

Location can’t be beat, just around the corner from the main street, and easy walking distance from most of the main attractions of the city. Even within easy walking distance of the harbour where our cruise ship was docked - a bonus. And a great used book store is just across the street.

Street noise- across the road from an Irish pub and as our stay was over the weekend period it was a little difficult to sleep
Able to leave bags there before check in. Good location-close to bus stop #6 for tour pick-ups. Easy walk to everything.

Room was small (not a huge problem) but bathroom was really small. Larger people would really struggle to take a shower. We wanted to change the number of nights of our stay well before the cancellation/change period and were told the hotel couldn’t or wouldn’t do it. This cost us an extra unnecessary nights stay. Please be aware of this lack of flexibility!
Excellent location, rooms were clean and daily room service was to a good standard. We paid an extra €35 on arrival for early checking-in but also gave us access to the continental breakfast each morning. Basic but excellent value! All the staff we met were friendly and helpful.
