We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United StatesWe aren’t from somewhere windy and this mostly just made us laugh at ourselves and watching everyone arrive at the hotel, but the parking lot is just far enough from the entrance to the hotel that when the wind is really ripping it feels like a very long journey to make it with your luggage 😂
Right in Vik it would be walking distance to the beach and restaurants, but it was so windy when we were there we did end up driving everywhere. Staff was helpful when we needed to quickly change our next day plans they helped us find a great local tour. Room was clean and we had big windows that opened facing the mountains. We were able to see a little of the northern lights through the clouds from just outside the hotel. The food at the restaurant was very good.

United StatesWith extremely high winds there was an almost constant rattling of pipes or something in the vents in the ceiling. There were three of us but only the last two rooms closest to the end (136 and 135 I believe) could hear it. It was loud and woke me a few times.
Loved the option of having a hotel restaurant and bar. We arrived in horrible weather so it was nice to be able to stay in. The view of the mountain was probably lovely but the weather did not allow us to appreciate it. Would love to come back and try again!
