The TV was a bit complicated to get going but that may have been our own fumbling around.

Cosy, warm, excellent views, heavenly beds and pillows, car parked right next to the house and very private. We saw the northern lights one night!

Self check-in and check-out process was easy and there was parking space available for each cabin, so, no problem moving heavy luggage. The cabin had minimalist design, comfortable bed, kettle, microwave and basic kitchen utensil. It was spacious, well heated and located on a quiet location 10 minutes away from Húsavík.

It has a little kitchen but is missing a cooktop.

Great little cabins outside of Husavik, comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. Lovely views of mountains and cows in the adjoining field. We would stay here again.

We loved our stay at Laxhus! It's located on a farm with beautiful views a short drive from Husavik. We originally were planning to stay closer to Lake Myvatn but I'm so glad we ended up here instead. It was less expensive with much more beautiful surroundings and close to town.

Seriously nothing it was refreshing.

The privacy. A small studio cottage with no one running down the halls at night. The location was beautiful we sat on the porch watching cows and horses in the pasture as the sun set. There’s no stove , there’s a coffee maker, toaster, and fridge so come prepared.

I wasn’t big on the pillow for sleeping, but might just be my preference.

We didn’t want to stay in town, so this was perfect! Very quiet, loved the view!! Enjoyed the geese flying in/out, the cows, the little cabin had everything we needed.

Wonderful view! Calm and quiet surrounding due to the physical distance between the appartments was such a plus in comparison to all our other stays, where you heard the neighbors. Well equipped kitchen comfy bed and tempura pillows.

There wasn't anything that I didn't like except that we didn't stay longer. Next time, we might take advantage of the well equipped kitchen to assemble some snacks and enjoy time passing by as we watch the sunrise and sunset, watch the animals go about their business, and wonder where the cars passing by might be heading.

Love the location in a very peaceful field with view of the mountains and water and various farm animals - and so close to Husavik. The private cabin was well-designed, clean and comfortable. Quality touches. Obviously put together with love and care. Very peaceful, convenient and beautiful spot; I would definitely stay again. The hosts were close by but we had no issues that required seeking them out.

It was extremely hot inside the hut. It was a great sunny day and all the curtains were open. When we arrived, it was difficult to breathe inside. As a suggestion, in these cases having the curtains closed can mitigate the impact.

A breath taking view. The cabin had everything we expected. Super quiet, with sheep grazing in front, and right on our balcony. :) A great place to stay.
