Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

FranceNothing comes to mind.
Good location, room was spacious enough. We had a good view of the runway behind the hotel. Very nice decor and artwork displayed. Sufficient parking space. Staff was especially very cooperative and polite.

United StatesThe buffet looked good but was expensive. However the menu food was reasonable and excellent quality and very filling.
The staff was very friendly and helpful and facility very clean, comfortable, and wonderful for our stay. It was conveniently located to everything in Reykjavik within 15 minutes (we had a rental car). Many of the bus tours will also pick from the hotel. The food at the restaurant was very good and you can either have the buffet or order from the menu. There was a nice parking lot at the hotel that is free parking. I would definitely stay again!

Convenient location with a relatively easy walk into the centre of town. Located on the perimeter of the domestic airport which is relatively quiet, particularly at night. Pleasant and helpful staff. Nice bar and on-site restaurant with an adequate menu.

IrelandThe bed had two separate single blankets on it, which was strange. The pool was over €50 for two of us to use, which was quite excessive, considering it's just a pool, hot pool, sauna and sound room with relaxing area. Because we booked B&B, we were told we could get takeaway breakfast starting from 4am... We thought 'great!' as we were leaving just after 4am. However, there was no takeaway breakfast and we were invited to take some sandwiches from fridge.
The food was incredible for both dinner and the breakfast buffet. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The room was comfortable and spacious. The hotel was well-serviced by public transport.

United KingdomI may have missed something, but for the winter traveller, somewhere to easily hang wet coats in the room would have been useful.
Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and well appointed. Breakfast was a generous buffet affair and comprehensive. Although situated next to the city airport we weren't disturbed by it, I suspect due to the low volume of regional aircraft using it. The hotel is about a 15-20 minute walk from the bus station but you can book a shuttle bus extension to your airport bus transfer that will drop you off and pick you up at the hotel reception. There is also a city bus route with a stop by the entrance to the hotel grounds. We were able to check in early, for a small fee. There is a small supermarket on the route to the bus station that proved invaluable for purchasing picnic food. There seemed to be plenty of parking space if you have a car.

United KingdomWe missed having a bath. After long days walking/touring a hot bath would have been welcome. Restauramt prices were just too much for us even with the expectation that Iceland is expensive by UK standards
Lovely room, very comfy beds and the spa was so nice! The pool was warm and was happy spending a few relaxing hrs there

PortugalIt is a bit far from the city centre, and the public transport is not that frequent. Your best options are to walk for 30 minutes (not very pleasant if it’s raining) or take a taxi, which is around 20 EUR. If you are renting a car, then it is perfect.
Great hotel at a reasonable price for Iceland. The rooms are comfortable, clean and have a decent size. The mini-fridge is really helpful, especially if you plan to take snacks for tours. Breakfast was also very varied and good. The staff was always very kind and helpful.
