Myri Lodge was a perfect location. Far enough from town to be quiet and dark, but convenient to everything we wanted. Toby and Anna were the perfect hosts. Toby made sure we knew the Aurora was visible. I would definitely stay again.

It was a great location for exploring the south coast and golden circle. It was a perfect location for Northen Lights spotting also.

We encountered an odd plumbing issue involving the bathroom sink (the overflow not properly plumbed in, or the drain blocked?). This meant that it was easy to flood the floor without realising it until you were standing in water. Similarly, water from the shower typically flowed out onto the floor. Fortunately, the (wonderful!) heated towel rail meant we could mop up the water with the bath mat and dry it again quite efficiently. It was also odd that not a single tea bag or grain of coffee was provided. We hadn't found this in any of the other places we'd stayed in during our travels around Iceland. There was a tub full of sugar cubes and a bottle of olive oil, but even the salt and pepper shakers were empty. Seemed a bit mean not to offer any tea or coffee at all. We left the remaining (half a bag?) of our ground coffee in the cupboard for the next visitors.

Ours was a small, cozy studio apartment for two in a rural area outside Selfoss. The studio was spacious enough for us to have both suitcases open on the floor and walk around the bed without any trouble (unlike some studio apartments where the bed was up against one wall and/or there was nowhere to open a suitcase and still move around!). It is self-catering at Myri, and we found we had all of the equipment/utensils we needed (although there's almost no bench space in the little kitchenette, so making coffee and breakfast at the same time was 'interesting'). It was warm and quiet. Very peaceful. We stayed there for two nights and would recommend it to others.

The location was a bit hard to find. A little cover as you enter the building would be great as we got caught in a downpour. But laughed it off.

The property was delightful and we enjoyed our stay. It was quite new and modern and had everything we needed.

Very nice place close to Selfoss but it still feels like in the middle of nature. With everything we needed for dinner and good nights.

Was very comfortable and could see Icelandic horses out our windows! Simple kitchen, but no coffee. Had to go buy some. Bathroom had a sour smell. Otherwise, all very good. Enjoyed having a kitchen and table. Not far from Selfoss. Lovely view.

The view outside in the morning or evening, just wonderful. The way the bed is tucked away, very smart. Well stacked kitchen, we cooked two nights. Lovely stay overall, happy to have stopped here.

Spacious studio, nice and modern decorations with a large bathroom. Really warm and cosy and excellent layout of bed areas, living areas. The location was a short drive from plenty of supermarkets as well as not too far from attractions.

There is nothing that I did not like, but just as an advice ... if you are arriving, try arriving in the daylight. It is easier to find the place. If you are travelling during snowy months, you will most probably need 4x4. It did not matter to me, but be ware that as the hot water is underground water, it has a smell of sulphur.

I liked everything about this accommodation. Anna and Tobbi are wonderful hosts. The location is remote, which I what I was looking for. The Booking.com does not provide correct location for the accommodation, but Anna very kindly navigated me when I arrived by car at night and could not find it due to Booking.com's instructions. The accommodation is simple, but comfortable, the kitchen provided all I needed for the stay. The place was very clean and comfortable. And most importantly warm, as I visited during a very, very cold spell (-15C).

Quiet location 5 minutes outside of Selfoss, super comfortable bed and pillows, and room insulated extremely well - kept us warm and cosy while it rained and snowed outside!
