The studio was located on ground floor and near street so noise from outside and upstairs were a bit disturbing at night. if someone opens a shower at night from upstairs there is a noise on pipes which might wake you up if you are a light sleeper. Missed a musli bowl in kitchen for breakfast.

Stairs, two flights and for two older ladies it was hard carrying cases up. The stairs were also quite noisy, we tried to be quiet but they did not dampen the sound and people in apartment above could be heard coming back later at night.

Spacious, clean apartment, excellent location. Beds very comfortable. Would definitely recommend, good value.

I highly recommend Next Apartmeht if you can get it. It literally felt like a home away from home in Iceland! Every mod con you would have at home, more than enough supplies, towels, toilet paper, even ice in the freezer, excellent location, really comfortable bed, strong WiFi, very quiet (I never saw anyone in the building!), it is really worth the few euro extra instead of a hotel, which aren't much cheaper anyway at this time of year. Overall, I really suggest this place for your trip, we'll done Next Apartments owner :) Looking forward to going back soon.

Parking in from the building was quite expensive but this did not take anything away from from my overall experience. I was fine with paying for it for my few days trip.

I stayed at Next Apartment for my 3 day trip to Reykjavik from the US and I am so very glad I booked here! I was right in the heart of the action and could walk to every Tourist attraction that Reykjavik, Iceland has to offer. The host was extremely helpful and accommodating as well! Thank you for your flexibility and for being just a phone call away for all things during my stay. I would highly recommend Next Apartment for anyone looking for a cozy, safe, and central place to stay when they are in town!

First time travelling and staying somewhere abroad alone and this place made me feel really comfortable. Everything about it was great for me and given I booked last minute, I'm ok with the price I paid. The room I stayed in was a twin which had a little cooking area which was great for saving a little money. It came equipped with all the cutlery, pots, utensils you'd need, even a few spices and herbs in the cupboard. There's a little supermarket less than 2 min round the corner too! The bed is the best thing I've slept on in a while, wouldn't mind one at home 😅. It's soo comfy and warm which I was initially worried about as I feel the cold really easily, but that wasn't an issue. The heating is great too. I found I only needed to turn on the radiator by the bed on low for an hour and that was just fine. This was when the weather was between -2 and 4ish. The apartment was clean and tidy, everything was easy to use and what's more it is in a great location. I had friends staying elsewhere and the walk to their hostel wasn't too long. I could get into the centre of town within minutes and the BSÍ Bus Station in 15min, tops. As a result we walked anywhere we needed to in town and felt safe doing so too. I plan to visit again with my sister and will definitely look to book this place if it's available. I highly recommend it.

loved the fact he put in basic refreshments like tea, coffee, toilet rolls, oil, kitchen roll, salt and pepper and was all new and boxes so you could make tea and coffee the minite you walked in. also there was soap and shampoo with towels on heated rail and beds made up so was perfect

Everything. It was just incredible! Couldn't have asked for more. The bathroom was spacious and cozy and the bed was soo comfy. Also, the kitchen is fitted with everything a guest could possibly need. Last but not least, the location is perfect! If we ever come back, we'll definitely stay here!

I think could be the best to left all the useful information about check-out, house guide, cleaning, bed and towel change, written somewhere in the apartment, to avoid doubts and to let the guests know when the host/cleaner person will enter in the apartment (and avoid situations in which the host knocks on the door without warning several times during the stay).

The apartment is very comfortable and fully equipped with kitchen appliances, to let you cooking if needed. There is enough space for 2 people, and the host provides fresh bed sheets and towel, with also floor cleaning. The location is in the centre of Reykjavik, just in a parallel street in front of the main rainbow road (in front of the big church). The host is an absolutely kind and helpful person, he let us pay after the first day (as we went to a full day excursion), and was always available on SMS for communications.
