The breakfast was really good! And they give out free cake during the afternoon too! Bathrooms were almost always available when I needed them. The view from the kitchen is absolutely gorgeous. Beds came with pillow, blanket, and a towel which was really nice. I stayed here for a night during a solo trip and felt very safe.

Everything was super in this structure! The staff was very kind, they welcomed us warmly, giving us advice on the nearby attractions (6 min from Seljalandsfoss - Gljufrabui). We were also allowed to use the kitchen even a little bit after the established hours (we just had to be quiet) so overall the staff were very easygoing. Food was a big up in this hostel: we were offered a free welcome cake and breakfast (included in the price) was very good (you can even taste some typical Skyr). Kitchen wasn't so big but it had everything you need and it was clean. Dorm and bathrooms were spacious and clean and we couldn't ask for more. P.S. there is a nice waterfall in the mountains behind the hostel which is really beautiful, even if it's not in the guides. It is worth a little walk (even if you have to cross a little stream) and it gives the whole place a really magic atmosphere!

We had dinner there- the lamb stew was great, especially after a long day of sightseeing and driving! Our room was fine and everything seemed clean. I don't much care for sharing a bathroom, but it worked out fine.

Everything was very clean and tidy. The bed was comfy. The staff was friendly. You get a welcome cake upon arrival. The breakfast was decent with a good selection of foods.

Would have been nice to have a bed sized for two, but the beds we had were comfortable.

We had a good one night stay here. The staff cooked a great lamb stew which we enjoyed as well, even though we checked in close to 10pm. Wonderful view of the waterfall and out to the sea. Would stay here again.

Please put blackout curtains in the windows! Otherwise, no complaints at all. It was wonderful.

What an amazing discovery! This was our only "hostel" on the trip (shared bathrooms). We were in a large family room with 4 people. It was our favorite stay of the whole week! Paradise Cave has such a warm, friendly atmosphere. The staff were lovely and hospitable, the room was large and spotless, the bathrooms were plentiful, private, and very clean, and the food was delicious. We purchased pizza for dinner, and it was homemade and amazing. And that view! It's only 5 min to Seljalandsfoss, so we went to the waterfalls in the evening and came back soaking wet to shower and change for dinner. It was perfect!

7.30 is quite late for breakfast when there are so many exciting adventures to pursue in Iceland. And being so near to the ferry for Heimay - 7.00 breakfast would allow guests to eat and still catch the 08.15 ferry.

The italian staff running this hostel was trying their best to keep the place clean, comfortable and interesting. The shared bathrooms are really clean. The fun facts from Icelandic language on the walls made me laugh! Even the location next to the waterfall gives the place a magical spirit. (Psst, they offer you a free cake upon an arrival!)
