Stay 2 nights and enjoyed the nice breakfast provided by host. 7 mins driving distance to airport. The host provide airport pick up with small fee even at mid night. So convenient for mid night arrival flight.

nice little place to stay near the airport, convenient for departure or arrival. So,e interesting things to see in the area, like the Viking museum. Its a cute traditional place. A good breakfast is included, other places charge extra.

We enjoyed our room. It could most definitely use a curtain of some kind to pull across the stained glass windows. The exit sign over the stairs is very bright and shines through directly onto the bed.

The breakfast looked lovely. We didn’t have time to enjoy it (we grabbed some yoghurts while packing up) or the attractive facilities, due to our very late arrival and early morning departure. The room upstairs was fun and large, although with nervous children who wanted to be escorted downstairs to the potty, we regret a bit not choosing the room that had an attached powder room. It was wonderfully convenient to the airport, while not feeling like an airport hotel.

I was hoping to see the Northern Lights. This is a prime spot for that but that depends on Mother Nature.

This was the best placed that my son and I stayed in - in Iceland. It is close to the ocean, to the church and to the airport. Christine was gracious and she loaned me a port to charge my iPhone. They had a geothermal hot tub which was so relaxing. The breakfast was abundant and the ambience of the home was very interesting and charming.

This is probably a deficiency of booking. The property lists “airport shuttle”. I assumed this was a free shuttle. Never assume.

The guesthouse is conveniently located about 10min drive from the airport which makes it a perfect first stop (or last) from the airport. The decoration is very cosy, facilities are clean and great to have a hot tub for cold days! Very good breakfast

Hosts politeness and attitude towards making us comfortable. Very helpful. The property is very rustic and they have made a lot of space to sit and eat at the ground level.

The host was very polite and provided as all accommodations we needed with the kids. Very patient! The room for family was a little tight but we did not mind as we were there only for a night. Beds were comfortable. We booked the family room because we wanted a private bathroom and but the shower was not working, so we ended up using the shared showers downstairs but as there was no other guests, it was not an issue. Breakfast was nice and they kept it open as long as we wanted.

We arrived late,around midnight and were warmly welcomed. Close to the airport, so it was really convenient. Excellent breakfast to get us started on our Iceland vacation.

One second floor room has low ceiling and may not be suitable for big people; but it is fantastic for groups with children. Almost feels like your in a fairy tale. Since large groups may tend to create more noise, they may unintentionally disturb other tenants.

Wonderful host and accommodation. The place itself is like a museum with interesting antiques and decors. The whole place was clean, cozy, and well taken care of. Very near the airport, and best for those with flights arriving and departing in odd hours. Very early do-it-yourself breakfast is a blessing before our early morning flight! Jacuzzi is a bonus. Surely can recommend this place.

Wow this place is quaint. It has a charm and the staff is kind and friendly. They definitely saved me with a booking error gone wrong. They were available and what a win for the last minute booking! I am so happy I got to stay there.

Only slight downside was the in-room shower not working so we use the shared bathroom downstairs instead.

Our primary criterion for choosing this accommodation was the proximity to the airport as we had an early morning flight in the morning, but I wish we would have stayed a bit longer to enjoy the unique atmosphere of the place. It is intricately decorated and I'm sure many of the objects here have their own story to tell. From a practical standpoint, everything worked out as intended, we had comfy beds waiting for us and despite our early start in the morning, we could enjoy a quick (and quiet :-) breakfast before leaving. We'll likely stay here again when doing a more thorough visit of the Reykjanesbaer peninsula.

Great place and great location near airport. We didn't stay for long and had to miss breakfast, but the kitchen was really nice and the place had nice character. Easy to find, easy parking.

Nothing it was perfect.

Beautiful very interesting home, very comfortable beds and very clean , excellent breakfast and very friendly welcoming host and staff, really close to the airport peaceful and quiet location. We had a great last night for the end of our trip.
