In a 4 bed dorm you have to expect some interrupted sleep. Unfortunately it lived up to my expectations with one really very inconsiderate roommate.

It was a good hostel located right next to Laugardalslaug public swimming pool and a direct and flat, if somewhat long, walk to the city. It had lots of utensils etc in the kitchen.

There were so many kids at a hostel. Because of the children, the kitchen was not clean every time they used it. I never expected to have children at a hostel, so that was a lot.

Love the faculty and the staff. They were extremely accommodating and helpful.

In the rooms there is a lack of curtains on every bed, I needed to take one bed linen to cover my side. Also curtains at the showers could be awesome and a little bit more of cleaning in the room floors.

The convenience of the location, very close to the sea sightseeing. 45 minutes from the downtown but I like to walk.

Very friendly staff. Room was clean but seemed a little old. Beds (bunkbeds) were ok but not a highlight. Good spot to stay one night (after flight and before starting your trip around the island). We haven't been to Reykjavik, so can't say anything about the location. But there were enough parking lots in front of the building.

The bathroom in the basement was not cleaned during our stay, and there even was pee in the shower. In he bedroom, there were sweet wraps from previous guest and other stuff left behind.

As there was no separation between the shower floor space and the rest of the bathroom floor around the toilet, the floor got a little dirty and accumulated a lot of dirt after a few shower uses.

The rooms were very clean, simple, comfortable, and the private bathrooms were a nice feature not commonly found in hostels. I liked how dedicated the mission was towards environmental sustainability and being eco-friendly.

The beds could have been comfier, but it's a hostel!

The room, bathroom, and hostel was very clean. Staff were lovely and helpful. Kitchen fairly well stocked.

Too many people in one hostel which leads to crammed and really dirty bathrooms. A weird thing about taking your linen downstairs, which is not that convenient when you have your hands full with all your suitcases.

Nice locations near the city center. The beds were comfortable and it was easy to navigate. The instructions for the doors were clear.

Mattress were really bad, my back started hurting after a few days. The kitchen was always smelling greasy and there were no lockers within the rooms.

The location is good, it was always cosy indoors and the backyard is very nice.

They don’t give towels if you’re in a triple room, you have to hire them for €7 each. This meant we couldn’t shower without spending an unreasonable amount on towels. There wasn’t even a hand towel for the sink so we exact bring towels for this one night of our trip when all our other accommodation included towels.

The facilities were ok but not super clean. It was fully booked so I guess depends on who’s there.

The staff were super kind and helpful. The location was good … on the outskirts of the city but easy to go in and out by car or bus. The rooms were ok but very basic.

The location is a little far. I have a bus travel trip whose meeting point was bus stop 12 at 8am. There wasn’t any bus at that time. I had to walk nearly half an hour in the strong snow.
