The front door was a little stiff.

This was a lovely space, with a comfortable bed and good facilities (hot shower with good water pressure, deep sink for washing up in the kitchenette). The windows around the room were great for brightening up the place as well.

Our door was very difficult to open and close securely.

The room was warm and comfortable. The bed was super. Lovely views and the area is quiet. Kitchenette was great and had everything we needed for breakfast. Self check in was quick and easy!

We stayed in the cabin as part of our trip around the island. There’s not much to do in the vicinity but it’s a great stop on your way around. We appreciated the kitchenette to wash some of our dishes and have some plates as we continued round. The cabin was clean and check in was pretty easy, and you can park pretty close to the stay. The door we had was a bit finicky, and kept jamming a little. Make sure you bring supplies though as there’s not much in terms of food options nearby. They do offer breakfast at a nearby hotel which they have a partnership with if you wish, but we didn’t take up that offer. Was a great price for what you get.

Amazing accommodation situated in front of an amazing view of a mountain range. Remote enough that we were able to see the Northern Lights from here but only minutes away from a city in case you need anything. Would stay here again!

Clear check-in instructions, great location by Road No. 1, and a beautiful mountain view. Keep in mind that there is no access to a stovetop or oven, but there is a microwave, a kettle, and a mini coffee maker.

The smart door lock was running low on battery so it would constantly announce that it was low on battery… even at 3am. It woke me up a few times

Just to flag: the kitchenette didn't have a stove. This wasn't clear on the booking page. Luckily, we had some bread with us, as we arrived very late and after a long drive, we didn't feel like going out again.

The location is fantastic! We were extremely lucky to see the northern lights here, which made the trip to Höfn a truly unforgettable experience!

During our stay at REY Stays - Small & Cozy Studio in Höfn, we found the room to be compact, which might affect comfort during longer stays. The kitchenette, while functional, was limited in size and equipment, making it less suitable for extensive meal preparations. Additionally, we experienced minor confusion with the self-check-in process, particularly regarding cabin numbering, though we quickly resolved it.

During our Iceland trip, we spent a night at REY Stays - Small & Cozy Studio in Höfn. The studio, though compact, was thoughtfully designed with a comfortable bed and a functional kitchenette equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, and sink. Our room offered a serene landscape view, enhancing our experience. The location was convenient, close to the town center and local attractions, making it easy to explore the area. We opted to have breakfast at nearby cafés, which added to our local experience. The self-check-in process was efficient and hassle-free, allowing us to settle in quickly. Overall, the studio’s design maximized the use of space, providing a cozy and comfortable environment for our stay.
