Lots of noise in evening and night . Poorly lit rooms and dining area

beds were a bit soft and saggy near the head/back area and given I have had 3 back surgeries in last 12 months, it did make things a bit painful.

LOCATION! Value. We did have a bit of a problem with code for the exterior door to the building, but so did so many other visitors. I think they may have been having a problem with system. But, we were always able to get in within 4-6 minutes.

We booked the room with balcony and it was worth every $$ the view was incredible , looking out to the water and the beautiful mountains , we also had a view of the church from the window on the otherwise of our room. The location was perfect very close to bus stops for tours and airport and also near great bakery’s and restaurants and moments away from rainbow street

Well till 11pm the music in the bar under our apt was very load to load and then till 3am in the morning on sat night the people outside the pub smoking and singing and way to load did not like it and did not sleep as we were out early every morning doing our tours

The value for money was poor. At over £300 per night, we were disappointed at how basic this accommodation was. The bathroom across the hall also wasn't ideal. Being above a live music venue also meant it was very loud late into the night.

Location was great, right in the heart of the centre with good parking options nearby. Bed was also very comfy.

The cost is not comparable to the quality Vs any other destination. I appreciate Iceland is simply more expensive but this money in any other country gets you much better quality.

Great location although a little difficult to find initially. When dropped off by the mini bus from the airport it’s not directly at the hotel and trying to find the hotel in the dark at the end of a long day traveling isn’t easy

Cold in the rooms, no way to reach staff. Cleaned and changed beds + towels + removed trash myself all 3 days. Paid for extra stay due to being sick, staff was not helpful or nice. No one ever at the property. Got stuck in lobby checking other guests in a few times which is not my job. Called police to have me vacate the room because I was asleep at 13.30 - I paid to stay extra time - which was more then uncomfortable for everyone but the hotel manager was hiding in the hallway instead of speaking to me himself.

There is a bar/restaurant directly below the hotel that had live music every night until 11 pm. Once the music ended then you could hear people talking out on the main street, this is with windows closed. We were on the 4th floor and it sounds like we were in the Bar. There was no hot water for our entire 4 night stay and we were given $57 refund for the inconvenience. The hotel says its not there issue as the water come from the town. I called everyday asking about the hot water issue and was given different excuses each time, nothing that resolved the problem.

The location was great, as it was on one of the main pedestrian streets and close to shops and restaurants. There was a great coffee shop across the street that we ate at every morning. The rooms were clean and equipped nicely for a family of 4.

It wasn't a problem for us but you can hear the bar down stairs . There is drain smell when running hot water .Not a real problem and hopefully fixed for the next guest.

The apartment is located in the busiest area of ​​Reykjavík and is not soundproofed (the windows are very old). The noise on the street was unbearable, people were partying in the street absurdly loudly until 4:00AM and I could hear them as if they were inside the apartment. And then at 6:30AM the city employees started cleaning the street with extremely noisy equipment and I simply couldn't get even two hours of sleep!

The property is like an apartment with the basic equipment for you to cook.

No sleep what so ever the whole weekend. The noise from the street unbareable and also from the nearby clubs. I would never recomend to anyone ever.

We had no hot water to have showers, or to wash the dishes, We told them about the issue, but they tried to tell us how to turn on the shower, crazy we all know how to do this , no hot water in bathroom sink, They said they had a team working on this , but no one came to our appartment for the 2 days we were there , ROOM 301 keep away from it, We were 4 people , cannot recommend this appartment, Customer service not good, and it was the most expensive appartment for our 8 days travelling around Iceland, Stay in Hotel 201 in Reykjavik and get the bus in and out of the city if you don't have a car , great Hotel,

The photos are not representative of what we received. The room we had was extremely outdated and did not present clean. The bathroom had down lights hanging out from the ceiling. Outside noise was extremely loud at night. Wouldn’t recommend staying here.

it is beside a live music bar. it was really really noisy during the Friday night. you can hear people’s laughing and speaking very frequently even after 1am.

The room is big, equipped with a hot tub, and with enough kitchen equipment for two people to have a light meal.

We loved our bright, spacious studio apartment. It had everything we needed for a stay in downtown Reykjavik, including a large hot tub. The building is quite secure and the staff are lovely. I will stay there as often as I'm in Reykjavik!

One of the bedrooms into the main street with really bad insulation, noisy. The breakfast was not worth it at all, it was a pity we first paid and then checked what's available

The noise from the surrounding business was absolutely insane. The blasting music lasted till 0400. And with there not being AC the windows had to be open so it made it worse. I wish there was a warning about this before booking or ear plugs gifted in the room for use.

Located near two Irish pubs!!! Extremely noisy all through the night where people from the pubs hang out outside and scream, sing and party. Even with the windows closed and ear plugs, we were kept up until 4 am.

Room was awesome, spacious and with quality furniture. Located on the most touristy street. Bed extremely comfortable.
