The apartment has a large living/bedroom comfortably and prettily furnished, a well equipped kitchen and a shower/toilet. It is close to restaurants and shops and has a lovely view of the sea.

With just one apartment to rent, the request for cash only makes perfect sense. The ability to pay by credit card would make it easier. However, this is a MINOR issue. If we ever get back to Iceland, we'll definitely stay here again!

The apartment is beautiful. The design is such that you enter what seems a smaller apartment but which opens to a wide living/sleeping space. The picture window and patio look over the sea. The decor is lovely; Iceland inspired without being over the top. Our hosts were kind and conscientious, even welcoming us with a note on the kitchen black board. They were flexible in accepting a combination of currency.

Wonderful apartment with terrace. And with sea view out of the bed! The hosts are amazing and even provide binoculars to look out for whales and dolphins. Definitely one of the best places we stayed in Iceland so far!

Well, didn’t meet owners, though good communications before we arrived. Disappointed there was no bedsheet for the sofa bed. Room was stuffy, bathroom very small, but as I say, super clean and good value.

Really a wonderful sea view ... large terrace! Well-equipped and high-quality furnished apartment! Good beds, also the double sofa bed. Everything very clean. The lovely design with many Icelandic pictures, illustrated books, etc. creates a good atmosphere! Daily necessities are available in the kitchen! The owner is very nice and helpful... we were allowed to stay until 2 p.m. on the day of departure... ideal! The bathroom is quite small but functional. With 4 people it is often necessary to convert, e.g. the sofa bed has to be folded up and the bed linen stored in the closet if you want to create a dining area for 4 people with the patio table. No problem for us ... we just felt good! Parking is on site and Keflavik center is a stone's throw away.

This place is amazing. The only issue we had was due to a heavy wind storm that caused a loud whistling sound. Don’t know exactly where the whistling was coming from but it was caused by the winds.

We would have preferred to have paid when we booked the apartment.

We liked it’s position and the view also the size of the apartment. The facilities were excellent and they made the apartment very comfy and a pleasant space to spend time in. The bed was exceptionally comfortable….yes We would definitely bookSea View again.lots of nice eateries if you don’t fancy cooking. You have to pay the owner in either Euros or Isk which was an over sight on our behalf they have an international bank in the town .

Was surprised to find out at 10 pm when we arrived, that we needed to pay by cash as the accommodation doesn’t have a card machine (!!!!). We had been sent an email 20 mins earlier asking us to do so but we hadn’t seen it and so we didn’t know until arrival. This seems very unusual and meant a late night quick dash to an ATM

Fabulous location with sea view and perfect stopover hotel for our last night before leaving Iceland early the next morning. Just a 5 min drive to the airport.

Great location and easy to find and a warm and friendly welcome. Such a comfortable bed, a fantastic shower and plenty of space with loads of little extras provided. The room wasn’t too hot and the view was lovely with an indoor and outdoor seating area overlooking the sea.
