The breakfast was cold most morning not keeping the hot food hot.. when they cleaned our room they didn't hoover. Rooms need a bit of tlc.

We hire a car and was easy access to many of the attractions. Staff were lovely and friendly.

Functional, clean hotel if a bit dated. Ideally located for us as we were roadtripping and were on our way back to Reykjavik. Our room was quiet and warm, overlooking the church and the lake. I highly recommend the The Old Dairy Food Hall in the town centre for dinner (its just round the corner)!

Walls/windows are very thin, we heard the cars from the streets and a lot of light was coming in between the curtains

Nothing except dinner at restaurant quite expensive but easy walk to cheaper options (across the road)

Asked for room facing the river which is what we received and would be preference even on first floor which is elevated. Breakfast in the price was very good. Near new shop development with food options and supermarket. This was great as traveling fast and needed to restock. Can also request Northern lights wake up call.

Old antiquity feeling met as strait we entered second floor corridor form lift where cleaning staff with trolley was traveling too. Carpets old and stained. All furniture and carpets in the room requires replacement. Not sure if hotel has proper double beds as our double bed was made from two single beds connected with thin mattress cover. Main matrasses are well used and you can feel you laying in hole. Unfortunately hotel doesn't have pool, but has small hot water tank with relax lighting. Spa changing room (ladies) looks like after rob - old and very empty (no towels, not body cream, no hair dryer, not any cotton buts or pads). Sorry but filtered coffee was terrible, after long time I was forced to drink tea for breakfast :).

We came to Selfoss hotel from Parlament Hilton in Reykjavik and from Blue lagoon - receptionist Ruta (Lithuanian) was excellent and very friendly. Check in was smooth and quick. Room was enough big but again very very antiquity. Spa is small but not bad - nice relax are before spa but terrible scary relax room. Sauna is very big, but very dry. Steam room is big and nice. Three type nice showers are provided in spa area. Restaurant has nice view to the river and quite average prices, not sure about food taste and quality as wasn't having dinner. Breakfast was very simple, but not bad.

There was no soap for the hands.

Room was spacious, big bathroom, everything was clean, bed was comfortable. In front of hotel there is big parking space, which was free. Breakfast was average, but it had everything that you need. Near hotel there are a lot of restaurants also.

The same food everyday, little options for the breakfast and hot buffet was cold. We haven’t been informed about that the tap water is drinkable.

I would say the images here were more promising. It's a bit used. The spa is not included, and the noise isolation is not perfect. No charger for electric cars.

The location is on the way to everything. It's pretty modern, it has free parking and a nice view to the lake.

I wish I could have a chance to try hotel's spa facility.

Hotel was easy to find and access. A parking a lot was spacious. Room was clean and bed was cozy and clean too. We had a lovely breakfast with a great view.
