Great location, close to everything in Golden Circle and also to Vik, watterfalls on south coast and Reykjadalur Hot Spring Thermal River. We also liked breakfast and helpful staff.

Big and spacious room with good bathroom. Quiet room and the bed was good with fine matrass. Things to make coffee and/or tea.

First room : bath tub was broken, falling apart. Everything was old and not very clean altogether.

Cheap, breakfast included. Nice location. We were given another room which was better then the first one after we complained.

We enjoyed our stay. Selfoss is lovely and a perfect base for exploring the south coast.

In example order, the breakfast was excellent, it was a great buffet and you just helped yourself. The staff were lovely and it was a great way to start the day. We had the riverside room and it was gorgeous, we were in awe when we first walked into the room. The beds were comfy the room was spacious and we loved being there. The location is fantastic, right in the centre of Selfoss. There are some lovely walks around the hotel and is close to all the best eateries, the staff helped us with finding the northern lights, and they were always polite and friendly. From the moment we arrived, we loved it, and we want to return to Iceland. So, we will gladly return.

The staff was kind and welcomed us for a slightly early check-in. The rooms were clean and well-sized. The beds were incredibly comfortable. A little nook in the lobby's lounge area was a perfect place for a group card game in the evening with a drink from the bar. Breakfast was outstanding and far exceeded expectations. Definitely sign up for the aurora call list at the front desk so you'll know when (if) the lights appear!

Rooms are a bit run down-especially the bathrooms. Floor in the main room is scratched badly. The pull out sofa for the kids we had to cover with towels to protect them from edges and critical metal pieces standing out.. It is called Hotel and Spa but the Spa is only on extra costs- so maybe adjust the name to the offerings.

Rooms are spacious. Dinner was nice and breakfast rich of variety. Staff was really nice in the restaurant.

The location is away from Reykjavik city, the drive more than an hour. Breakfast: Good Spread but it’s repetitive so may get bored if you are staying for multiple nights .

Location: In the heart of Selfoss. Restaurants and supermarkets were within a range of 1km. The hotel is located right at the entrance of Selfoss town. Rooms: Rooms are quite spacious with some providing panoramic view of the lake. Parking : Free Parking available outside hotel ( but soon it will be paid parking as the parking signboards are put up). There is also iSorka EV charger available outside the hotel premises. This hotel is great for those who self drive/ rent cars as there is no public transport available. They also provide Wake Up call for Aurora sighting. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Really friendly staff. Room was very clean and had all the basics, plus a lovely view of the river. Breakfast was very good too, and it's well placed to go for dinner in the town.

It was very noisy and poor sound insulation in the rooms. We were in room 301 and could hear the lift and corridor doors banging. You could hear people talking and moving around above. Also very dated decor and curtains never closed properly.
