Huge, comfortable family room. Lovely restaurant in the evening, good selection, reasonably priced and very tasty. Kids were also well catered for.

Probably the most expensive restaurant during our whole 8-day stay around Iceland, but thankfully breakfast was included so it balanced out a bit. The food was great though.

The proximity to the waterfall makes this hotel perfect! You can walk right to it. The rooms were a great size, and the coffee/tea/hot cocoa maker for guests was a big hit. And love that breakfast is included!

The bunk beds creek a lot when the kids moved an inch. Became rather tiresome when they were trying to fall asleep but in the end they did. When it rained there were some noises from the drops falling from the roof. Something that is easily fixed with a gutter. Pretty sure this problem only exists for the room in the end of the hotel.

Everything was great. Service was superb and went out of their way to solve a problem we had which made the trip a lot better for one of our family member. Breakfast was very nice and wide range of food to enjoy in the morning. Access to free coffee and hot chocolate which the kids loved. Very close to Skógarfoss which was nice, you could basically just put your shoes on and be at the waterfall in 3-5 minutes.

Amazing location not far from the meeting point for the glacier walk. The waterfall is amazing and you can see it from the restaurant probably 300 metres from the hotel. Food in restaurant is reasonably priced and really good quality. Great all round experience

Very warm hotel! I stayed two nights with family. hotel was in prefect location, everything was clean, food was fresh and the rooms was super hot 👌🏻 My birthday wish came true as we saw northern lights right from the car park of the hotel.😁

Our room was so hot. We adjusted the thermostat on the wall, but it was still uncomrtably hot, so we opened a window, which helped a little.

The location right next to the waterfall was a real treat. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was phenomenal- above expectations.

The room was very hot and there was no way to reduce the heat apart from opening the window which is not ideal in the bad weather.

The workers were so kind and helpful. They gave lots of information about the weather and roads. The breakfast was really great. I don't like fish but they plated many kinds of fish. I haven't seen it in other hotels.

Very few sockets in the room, non by the bed. No hairdryer in room, however given one on request.

Great view of the waterfall. Comfy bed. Free tea and coffee. Extra heater in the room. Great breakfast. Lovely lunch menu, but only served until 4pm, evenings £70 set dinner, bit of a surprise.

The only downside to this hotel is that it is a bit expensive. The room was ok but not very spacious and the bathroom had a bad smell from the plumbing.

The hotel is located a few meters from the Skógafoss waterfall, the room we stayed in had a view of the waterfall. The hotel staff was very friendly with us and they were advising us what to visit around. The hotel offers a very complete and varied breakfast. It was a pity that when we stayed there were few rooms occupied and at breakfast time we were placed in the dining room at the back of the hotel and did not have views of the waterfall as the photos of the hotel show. The hotel has a restaurant for lunch and dinner, the food was very good.

The room was small but cosy. The location is excellent, we were able to see the sunrise from the waterfall - you just need to walk 2 minutes from the hotel to be there.
