Several pots and pans were not in good condition. Everything we cooked were sticking and burning on the pans. It was very hard to get food out of the pan and also to clean them. Would be great if the owner replaces them with new ones.

Great location for doing the golden circle, just a stone throw away from the secret lagoon. The host was very friendly.

Lovely place in a quiet and secluded location close to two hot springs and the golden circle route. The kitchen is well-equipped for cooking, and the abundant self-service breakfast is great. Clean, comfortable beds, the hand towels in the shared bathrooms are a lovely touch. Friendly hosts.

Rooms are small and very close to one another. There is not much space, it was full of people and it was a bit difficult to move around in the kitchen, sit relax and have diner. Also lots of noise, everyone is talking etc. There was almost no breakfast (unless other guests ate everything 🤣). It is expected of course, you get what you pay. Just Keep those things in mind. Other than that all gold.

I like the price! The cheapest room we booked in Iceland. The girl that greeted us was very friendly. It's like a mix of guest house and hostel. If you don't have much expectations you will be fine ☺️ Very nice beautiful farm location to have a short night rest. It has a kitchen, 2 shared bathrooms with hand soap, shower and big parking space outside. Easy access, check in. Room was warm. Clean sheets and towels. For a short budget friendly stay in a warm place, close to points of interest I do recommend it!

Some of the other guests stole some of our stuff in the shared fridge. But that's not the owners fault of course

It was close to some of the big sightings like Gullfoss and Geysir. So much more to see around as well within 2 hour drive. It was really clean and the room was nice. The breakfast had all we needed. Also toilet and kitchen was clean. The weather is very nice in fluðir

Due to a family crisis, I didn't make it to Iceland this time, but my friend stayed here and sent this for the review "Skyggnir was good! It was not high class but a little more old fashioned. However, it was comfortable, very well organized and tidy, very close to the hot springs. I greatly enjoyed meeting and chatting with other people from around the world there. It was a neat experience."

Fantastic hostel-like b&b in a great location on the Golden Circle! The room is small, but the common areas are very comfortable and have everything you could possibly need. Very friendly host as well! To top everything off, we saw the Northern lights from our bedroom window!! (see photo)

It is really a great place: very clean, well situated: in a quite area, but close to Geysir and Gullfoss. The owner is very kind. He gave us a lot of interesting information about the region and were considerate all the time. The beds are comfortable. The decoration and the pictures on the walls were really nice! The breakfast was very tasty, and the kitchen is very well equipped, even with a dishwasher. The view was great as well! We saw very nice auroras! We would repeat our stay with please!

The owner was so kind (and funny). We were stuck in the morning, because of the snow. He came with his tractor and cleared the way for us. The rooms aren't spectaculair, but it is a good place to stay for a night or two. And the breakfast is included :)

We stayed 1 night, we wouldn't mind to come again and rest more! The person from the reception was super nice and kind :) We had towels for body and face. The breakfast was also very good! You have some food from the place but you can also bring yours and use the fridge :) up to you. The beds are super confortable and we had a room with an amazing view. Hot Springs are close!
