The building seems to be old. The hallways were really dark. You have to take your shoes off downstairs. The rooms were a bit old thats all but clean. Our bathroom smelled a bit!

The room was specious! Wifi was great! Kitchen was a big size with everything you needed for cooking. 1min walk across is a nice restaurant and also of course the beautiful Kirkjufell!! The room was clean!

To be honest, I was a little hesitant at first as I had never stayed in a guesthouse before, but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of my stay. My biggest criteria for booking a room was to have my own bathroom, which I did, and it was clean and well-stocked with fresh towels, hand towels and a bathmat. The room was spacious enough for two people and was warm, fresh, and clean. The fact that everyone had to remove their shoes meant that the floors were always clean and free of mud or stones that could be tracked into the carpets. Iceland is known for being an expensive country, but I was impressed to find that you have a clean and well-equipped kitchen available for all guests to use. It was a fantastic idea, and I appreciated the notices reminding everyone to keep it clean. The kitchen was spotless, and there were new dishcloths and dishtowels available every few hours. The view from the guesthouse was also breathtaking, with a great view of the waterfall and the mountains. It was a truly spectacular sight that I will never forget. Overall, my stay at your guesthouse exceeded my expectations, and I am grateful for the level of service and attention to detail provided by your staff. Thank you for creating a comfortable and enjoyable environment that made my trip to Iceland even more memorable.

The bathroom was a bit older and the shower doors couldnt close properly

the location is perfect as you have the perfect view of the mountain when you cook in the common kitchen. The kitchen as well was very well equipped (spices, oil, vinegar, dry food) and there were some home made knitted sweaters and mittens you could buy. The room was great and lovely and the best things were the very dark curtains - this comes in very handy when you are trying to block the light from april to august. The bathroom was maybe a bit older but everything was working well. I would def recommend it

The view from the yard over Kirkjufell Mountain is amazing if weather allows you to enjoy it. Apartment is spacious and clean. Plenty of parking just in front of the building and shops near by. Kitchenette is a bit old fashioned but does the job and if needed there is a shared kitchen in the building.

Perfect Location for a Trip around Snæfellsnes. Spacious rooms, clean and well equipped kitchen. Hairdryer and towel included as well. We would stay here again any time!!
