As a family with small kids, we have booked family room with private bathroom. The room and bathroom was super clean. We were afraid of the noise from close by airport and no noise went to the room. With the breakfast served from 4:00 is the perfect place to stay if you have early flight. The receptionist booked a taxi for us without any trouble.

The coffee

The room was very clean, sheets, towels everything was very clean. The bed and the pillow are very comfortable. I arrived at 8:30 pm and the Receptionist was there smiling and welcoming me, I had a warm shower in a clean bathroom. the other girls in the room were very quite, The breakfast was decent. when i needed a taxi they called a local honest taxi driver who charged me a fixed fee.I recommend the hostel.

It was very clean and had everything I needed for a no fuss stay. The breakfast was great and started early in the morning so I could fuel up before an early flight.

The double bed was 2 twins joined together , so it wasn’t super comfortable for 1 adult and 2 kids for whoever was in the middle

Breakfast was really good. Haven’t seen such a spread in any airport hotel. There were different kinds of cereal ( a gluten free one in a separate container), different kinds of bread, muffins, sliced pound cake, oatmeal , fruits, skyr and coffee/tea/juice The room and shared bathroom were extremely clean and well maintained

I can’t find anything what not to like

Very clean , comfortable bed and good shower . Breakfast was tasty good selection, staff are very friendly thanks for Szymon and the lady Ioana or Irina ( sorry not sure) . They have shared kitchen lot of equipment, pizza oven ( you can buy pizza and bake yourself) there is beer ,pot noodles , crisps and many more . Breakfast is 4am to 9am but hot beverages all available all day ( tea , coffee , hot chocolate…) breakfast have juices , bread , cheese , salami , egg , bread spreads , fruits , etc . You can book a taxi for available every 30min for 2250 local money per person they book for you just let them know in advance. If you choose to take buss is number 55 but it’s coming quiet rear specially Sunday it’s only from 12pm so better book taxi with them . Highly recommended this place very cozy clean and friendly!

Warm welcome from a friendly receptionist who immediately booked our transport to the airport for the next morning at a very reasonable fixed price of 4,500isk. Small shop at Reception plus well-equipped kitchen with helpful basics such as olive oil; all enabled us to eat a meal there despite arriving late in the evening. Quality, full-range buffet breakfast, freshly-prepared, from 4-9.30am, which helped considerably with an early flight. Overall, an excellent end to our stay in Iceland.

The nearest food place was a 10 min walk from the hostel, though the lobby did sell some snacks to get you through the day/night. You can also order delivery, so it really isn't that bad.

I liked how close it was to the airport and how accessible it was. The staff showed me how to get to the bus stop and catch the bus to the airport, which was a 20 min ride. The breakfast was great! The bed was comfy. The shared bathroom was very clean and private, which I loved. And every bed had a side table and a bed lamp. Overall, it was a lovely last night stay.

I think all is good and possible the small improvement is to put a label on each of breakfast foods, as I can not eat beef hence I am quite worried.

The staff is very helpful and friendly. When I arrive around 2 pm, the room yet ready, and she is welcome me to take a tea break at their cafe. After 5 to 10 mins, quickly come to me, and the room is ready. I am unexpected the room is clean and warm, not like dorm I stay before. Lastly, their breakfast is the best. They have a lot of choices, and all it is to keep on to refill from time to time.

It was rather remote from any restaurants and convenience stores. It was necessary to purchase short-term food supplies while in town.

Both Joanna and Margaret were very kind and helpful. I have never stayed at a hostel. This was an excellent introduction and has set the bar very high for me.

Only that it is still a few kilometres from the actual Airport and needs a taxi early in morning (4500kr), but accommodation at the actual airport is limited to just one hotel I think.

Very clean, spacious, only four beds to a large dorm room, not bunk beds. Towel and flannel provided. Very comfy clean beds and linen. Large ‘wet room’ style showerooms. Staff all very helpful and friendly. They organised a shared taxi to airport to reduce cost. Great breakfast was included, cereals, fruits, pastries etc, even at 04:00!

Good place to stay very near the airport. The breakfast is starting to be served at times that you are certain to get your flight. A kitchen is available and you can buy food to cook at the counter.
