Friendly hosts, a great location if you have a car (close to Reykjavík, and some grocery shops and restaurants are nearby), a nice neighbourhood to go for a walk.

The only thing not working was the light over the stove. The bathroom is very small and more shelf space would have been nice.

It is a good location if you have a car. The room is compact but everything you need is there and because the landlord lives next door it is easy to get anything you may need. Easy parking off the street. Grocery store 5 minutes away.

the shower needs urgent maintenance: some of the pipes had come off and the tap got jammed so I spent good 10 minutes trying to figure out how to turn it off - all while accidentally switching water temperature all the time.

once you realise it’s literally someone’s garage - things start to make sense. parking is merely 2 meters away from the door, no steps and self check in via lock box. fast internet and fully equipped kitchen. great to stay

The place was clean and really charming whereas we booked in the afternoon for the night. Not cold, no noise and all equipement we needed was avalable. We had a mail informing us the code to have keys. Thanks for a good last night in Iceland before back home !

Absolutely fantastic apartment, everything you need for a stay in Iceland. The location was perfect, very close the main town and a smaller one. Onsite parking was really useful, bed was super comfy and the apartment had what you need for making your own breakfast, morning coffee, lunch and even dinner. Highly recommend staying here, the price was very much worth it. Lovely little stay, thank you so much.

I didn't spend much time in the accommodation but nothing stuck out that I didn't like.

Within a very short time of booking the accommodation, I received a message with details of how to get in. The accommodation was lovely and perfect for me. Everything I needed was there and the cupboards and fridge was stocked with basic foodstuffs. Although I didn't spend much time in the property, the time I did spend there, I was comfortable, very warm and cosy. I have no problems at all recommending this accommodation for solo travellers or even couples who are looking for a relatively cheap, warm, safe, clean and comfortable base in this location.

Bathroom has a cabinet right in front of the toilet seat and I hit my head twice, luckily no bleeding. Please take it down, so dangerous to place it there. The "apartment" is a converted car garage, that means very poor soundproofing, very little space for the bathroom and kitchen. One side of the bed is basically the garage door, only separated by a small drywall from a DIY shop. We know everything is very expensive in Iceland but this location didn't provide a fair value for money in our opinion.

The sun never really went down and the shades helped a lot but still peaked through the tiniest bit, wasn’t too bothersome though as the bed was comfortable and the shades were adjustable

The studio is adapted garage and has bad ventilation. If you keep the window open you get unsafe feeling as it is in the ground floor.
