Easy check-in process, nice friendly staff! We arrived with limited suppies, limited selection on their evening meal but we were off season, both dishes were lovely. Breakfast was good with a nice selection of foods. This hotel is in a great location for Stuolagil waterfall...

The restaurant for dinner do not offer many options. It is simple but good.

Everything was very good, comfortable beds, good shower and breakfast and localization to see the Northern lights as well (we saw it!)

The breakfast offered only the minimum. We found the hotel a bit overpriced for what it offered.

The rooms were comfortable and clean. The location was very convenient for the Studlagil canyon.

Breakfast could have a greater spread! Dining area could be a little warmer. Else, a good stay!

Good location. Staff were warm and friendly, and provided good advice regarding the weather (happened to stay when there was a snowstorm). Free tea and coffee was a nice touch for guests. Hotel was quiet too.

    - No black-out curtains so we couldn’t sleep well and needed an eye mask. Curtain was on a stick which looks nice but not practical as it can’t be pulled across - Breakfast was chaotic. food was the lowest quality we’ve had in Iceland and in minimal quantities (ie a few sliced eggs). it constantly ran out and we had to keep waiting for more to be made/cut. - the hotel looks more modern and fresh in the photos. it’s a basic hotel + hostel and quite overpriced for the amenities/service provided.

Clean room & bathroom Friendly staff Good food at the restaurant (dinner) Close to Studlagil canyon

The curtains were hung on a wooden branch and are hard to close. We were also a bit confused about the main switch for electricity in the room. But these were only minor inconveniences.

Restaurant was excellent. Limited menu but perfect execution of the wolf fish - steak was slightly overcooked but quality of the meat made up for it. Location was very close to the Studlagil hike. Kettle for hot water is conveniently provided in the common area. Room and bathroom were clean.

They forgot to give us the extra pillow; however, they did apologize in the morning. All was forgiven.

Great location! The staff worked hard to help us. I needed to clean the bugs off the windscreen of the rental vehicle and they were able to provide me with an old cleaning cloth with some soapy water! That really helped! They had a vegetable soup (pumpkin I believe), and it was awesome.

The main door is closed at 10pm, even the area where the tea kettle is, and there are no kettles in the rooms - a bit inconvenient.

The large dinning room tables where you eat breakfast or hangout was very interesting. Breakfast was good and easy to coordinate. The rooms were nice, clean, and simple.
