Beautiful setting. We caught spectacular northern lights. A simple breakfast was at our cottage. Easy check in. A cozy setting for two. We would come back again.

Since we stayed with my husband I would prefer if there would be an option of a double bed :) the breakfast was too simple considerinfg the price of booking.

Everything is there to like! The location is incredible, the guesthouse is on an old farm overlooking Kirkjufell - Martin is a great host!

Nothing to dislike. Maybe some more items in the kitchen. It would be great to have a teapot, for example, but this is minor.

This is our second time staying here. Both times we had the twin room in the cabin and we love it. There is a kitchen for preparing light meals and a wonderful deck with a fantastic view of the fjord and Kirkufell. The owner and staff are all very nice. The breakfast room also has a great view. The weather this time was not very good, but we still had a good stay. Bonus is that there is a wonderful restaurant in town called Bjargarsteinn Mathús. Be sure to make reservations.

The breakfast was really nice with beautiful view of Kirkjufell. Loved the mugs! 😍 And extra credit goes to the friendly staff. We forgot our backpack but the host found it, and delivered it to us in Reyjkjavik. That is really something above and beyond any expectations.

The ceiling of the bedroom was very low. We bumped our heads several times. The rooms in actually in an attic. We rearranged the bedding set to avoid bumped head when wake-up on the bed. Even though we still pumped heads when we forgot. I suggest they paint the lower ceiling part with different colors so people can sense the difference from the wall.

It's a small house and you get the feeling that any noise you make will wake up or bother the neighbors. Everybody does seem to respect that, and everybody is rather quiet.

The view from my specific window was fine, but there are some incredible views from the sun room/dining room and all around the property in general. The breakfast was a simple continental breakfast, but perfectly adequate. All round a very calm, relaxing property that provides easy access to the nearby sights/attractions.

This was our final stop after touring the island and it was by far our favorite place! Breath-taking view as we stayed in apartment 1, we had a direct ocean view with Kirkjufell. It included everything we needed. Fantastic hosts, as well! Can only recommend.

The dinner did not meet expectations. Most of the food we ate in Iceland was excellent. The dinner here was mediocre. Breakfast was very good.

The location of this guesthouse is very central to the sights in Southern Iceland. Our room was small but had it's own bathroom.

I loved this property! Located in a quiet area with an amazing view of Kirkjufell Mountain, the room was very clean and had a comfortable bed. We enjoyed a fresh and delicious breakfast. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a restful night's stay.
