No kettle was available in the room. The hot water was available in the reception at anytime but it’s very uncomfortable to go for just warm cup of tea

The bathroom was Little and not provided with shampoo or soap.

Beds were comfortable. There's an Electric kettle and a small table in the room. The guesthouse is in the middle of nature, very relaxing and quiet. There's a spacious parking zone outside. There's a restaurant, but we didn't try It.

The main critique for us was we felt the breakfast to be too expensive and there are no alternatives if you don’t come prepared

They waited for our arrival at almost Midnight because road conditions were difficult to predict. The room was very warm when we entered which made us feel very welcome. Everything was very clean

The room was a bit cold, plus there is a limit on hot water which wasn’t written while booking the room. Plus they don’t really have an inside common area so if you bring your own food you’ll have to stay in the common area outside, but when is raining is not the best.

The location of this place is simply unforgettable. Not the most comfortable room, but ideal if you're looking for a base point for a few hiking days.

Property is 12 km off the road after 6/7 km of gravel road, not great if you have a bad 2WD.

Very nice guesthouse in a peaceful location. Room was essential but fully functional. Good dinner is available with selection of local products.

Breakfast was expensive 3750 KR per person. We didn't partake but it looked good when we walked by. Coffee was no charge and that was all we wanted. We just sat in the lounge away from the breakfast crowd. The room itself was small and one of 5 made out of shipping containers. Comfortable but not luxurious - very basic.

The hotel building itself is very nice - looks quite modern. It's quite a surprise to find it 10 kms off the Ring Road. It was a place to sleep after a day of driving and exploring the sights along the ring road. Staff were friendly. Coffee was available all hours. There's an on-site restaurant and lounge bar so you don't need to drive to Egilsstadir for dinner.

Kettle with tea and coffee in the room would be nice. We had unit 7 and the electricity cut out twice in the night which is a problem for needing the sleep apnoea machine. Then, no hot water in the cold morning, probably due to the tripping electricity

Really nice basic unit with lamps and power plugs on both sides of the bed. Comfortable sleep in quietness. Staff were helpful. It was snowing lightly when we were there so it was dreamy to watch out the window at the snow falling in the woods. Common lounge area was quite pleasant with a drink

The room had a boiler with 50l capacity, so the hot water ran out very fast. It is not enough for two people to shower, even though we spared the water.

Nice and cozy room near Egilsstadir. Parking right outside of the room. Very, very clean. Had hairdryer.

We arrived at 21 and the kitchen was already closed, we would have appreciated if they would have offered at least something cold, like bread, cheese and cookies that i think they would have prepared for the breakfast of next morning. Not a fan of shower curtain, no fan in the bathroom so it remained a little humid and smelly during the night

The pillows were too soft. There was no kettle. Most importantly they didn't reply to our e-mail sent in the morning of the previous day where I asked how could we enter the rooms if we would arrive after the check-in time (10 pm). That made us not going to one destination where we would have spent a lot of time out of fear we wouldn't get in. Using google maps we had trouble finding it. Of course this is not the hotel's fault.

It was quiet in an isolated location. The staff was friendly and helpful and brought us a thermos with hot water so we could make some instant coffee. They let us put some food in their fridge.

In the middle of nowhere, no kitchen, we needed later checkin but noone anwered for 5 hours

There is no table outside of the cabin so one can eat breakfast bought by their own. A chair (at lwast one per apt.) and a small table can make a hugh difference at summertie when travellers want to seat outside and eat. The room is basic.

Didn't take the breakfast. The rooms we got are two rooms one by one in the same hut. It's close to one another with different entrances.
