The path to the cabin was dark and we arrived late so it was hard to make out but not impossible

Cozy well equipped cabin with as much or as little to do as you want! Surrounded by nature and wonder, but close to Husavik. Could stay at the property and use a boat on the lake, fish, bird watch, soak in the hot tub, etc., It is even possible to walk or drive to town to eat, shop, go to Geo Sea spa or JaJa Ding Dong bar and Eurovision museum. Had a great time and the hosts are lovely and very helpful- we were not smart about how to work the temperature of the shower and they came over to show us!

Our front door lock was difficult to manage with a "finicky" key....especially late at night in the dark. This really needs to be replaced. There were hot tubs available for free use, but only if you wanted to share with others. They were always in use. They were in a nice spot and lit up at night. A nice amenity, but unpractical for our personal preferences.

The cottage was really amazing and well equipped. We didn't cook, but I could see that everything you would need was there. It had a beautiful view out the front of the Fjord, and I could see by the comments written in the guest book that the well marked trails were worthwhile for bird watching and just hiking. For our purposes, it was perfect. We were looking for a location near Myvatn without the high price of a touristy hotel. Highly recommended.

A great classic icelandic "cottage experience". Just like old times. Go there with the right mindset and you will enjoy it We were lucky with a view of the lake, fjord and mountains. Wonderful with bird walk on the property, using the boat and hot tub.

May very well be the best place we stayed at during our iceland trip. Really cute cottages in the heart of nature. Great birding&fishing opportunities right in front of the cottages.

Bathroom was too small, I would like it to be bigger.

Very nice area of cottages near the lakes. Birds sang all the time, but it didn't disturb us at all. Location is close to Husavik and it can be easily reached.

Our host were wonderful. I made a mistake with the booking and got the days wrong but our host was fantastic and flexible and was accommodating to my error. We had done a lot of site seeing in the week before and the cottage was fab to have a few days to relax before heading home. Husavik is also a lovely little town.

- I was not able to meet anyone from the crew during my stay to ask about some things. Need to do that via app - The house inside is pretty old

Nothing: this place is heaven Although if you want a spacious room and big shower / shiny bathroom this isn’t for you!

Amazing spot… cosy log cabins dotted around an extensive estuary-side area with little wooded paths and great views across to snow-topped mountains (in May!) There are 3 hot tubs around the site: amazing to sit in peace and enjoy the tranquility and views Also an astonishing variety of bird life The cabin was super cosy and especially loved the feather duvets Excellent info sent by hosts in advance

The hot tub nearest our cottage was out of order but we were able to use the one that was a little further away.

Everything was amazing, felt like a fairytale at the end of the world. Beautiful views, cosy, warm cottage, home away from home. The water system is so smartly sorted in there. Thank you so much for everything 🙏🏼 We'd definitely book again in future!

The hot water in the cabin (and specifically in the shower) are geothermal water- and smell so due to sulfur. The bathroom is small but for us as a couple it didn’t really bother.

Beautiful cozy wood cabins. Best environment & equipped with all the necessities. Location was great, 2 minutes drive from the center of Husavik.

Somewhat close to the road, so you could hear the traffic.

Private cottage. Not too expensive. Free hot tub. Beautiful environment. Hiking trails really close. Only 5 minute drive from grocery store in Husavik.

Would have liked eating in the common dining area but understand that there weren't enough people.

Great location near Husavik. Beautiful views and walks. Very friendly and responsive hosts. Wonderful breakfast delivered to the cabin. Plus goodies to take with us at the end of our stay!
