Unfortunately the wood wasn't sealed properly and on our second night with an icy wind blowing, my husband had to sleep with his beany on his head, as the air made quite a breeze into the cottage through the planks. The central heating wasn't enough. This is in March, so I would hate to think what mid winter is like...

The kitchen equipment hadn't been checked for cleanliness. I had to wash up anything I wanted to use before using it. Frying pans still had oil and fat in them. We also found it hard to cook on the two portable rings but maybe that was just us. If it hadn't been for the cleanliness of the kitchen equipment our stay would ha e been rated much more highly but it was very off putting.

We stayed in an economy 2 bedroom cottage. The beds were very comfortable and it was warm and cosy. There was lots of hot water. The cottage was very well located for Geysit, Gulfoss, Laugarvatn etc.

Therfore hot tub, was not impressive at all! ;) It was not really clean and it was not really hot, so we did not even used it, besides that everything was quite great!

Place was awesome, size, rooms, view from the window, and also location was good eneough for us.

The hot tub was freezing cold so unusable, which was the main reason for choosing this accommodation. The staff offered us a different lodge but the water wasn’t much warmer and the views weren’t as good so we stuck to the original lodge and decided not to use the hot tub. The Tv didn’t have any channels available, the wifi went off and didn’t come back on for the entire stay. There was no hot water in the lodge at all, the shower and tap were again freezing cold which we only discovered in the morning, where there was no staff available to speak to, so we left without having been able to shower.

The lodge was clean and the bed/living room and bathroom were modern and comfortable. The food was good and the staff friendly.

the lack of privacy was troubling with the living room having no curtains and neighbours practically right next door, it wasn’t very well cleaned with heaps of old dust and dirt in almost every corner.

The hut itself came into some age... it was new painted and clean, but doors and the general picture of the hut looks a little bit old and is sometimes a litte bit broken. Overall okay, I would go there again, but I expected a little bit more...

Nice location of the hut and absolutely genius hut (room) concept (hut with 2 bedrooms, big front window and a terrace with a hot pot!!!). Also the kitchen and cooking facilities have been great - everything there what you need!

All very old; the tv did not work and neither the radio. The jacuzzi was only half warm but we manage to put more heat on. The Water did not sem clean. But staying there was nice all the same.

No coffee, it was á one night stay and would have been nice to have coffee. The nice girl in reception was nice to open up and sell me coffee from machine for breakfast.

Kitchen chair cushions grubby. Rubbish left under the spa. Vanity in bathroom worn. TV stations non existant. They did say bring a chromecast - not likely on an overseas holiday.

Our Room was different to the photos they post on their site. It was much older and not clean. Would not have booked if I had seen the actual room we were in beforehand.

Location is very quiet and peaceful with some good views over the local landscape. Check in was friendly and efficient.

Many things were broken and didn’t fix, like the bathroom door could not be locked. No WiFi as promised. The room was not cleaned thoroughly. The towel in the bathroom was all wet and the icebox in the fridge was in a mess with a bag of ice inside and a frozen bowl too. The provided address could not help the find the property. The staff were too busy to help check-in.

The cabin was not very clean and definitely not the hot tub, first thing I did was to empty the tub and scrub it down. Went to ask the young woman about cleaning supplies for me to clean the tub and can not say that I had any help regarding that.

One of the reasons I booked this site was because of the hot tub and it was Luke warm at best. They had no cover on it, and the temperature was faulty cold outside so it cooled off considerably. All they needed was a cover and it would have been warm. Girls at check in told us wrong cabin, so we spent quite a bit of time trying to figure out which cabin was ours, they have no numbers on them. Water in sink dripped all nigh making noise. They had no coffe, crea, tea, etc which is really a bare minimum to expect. I wouldn’t stay here again

The tub was pretty warm, but could’ve been a hotter. The tub was also a bit dirty. There was lots of weird pollen/detritus in the tub that came through water entry pipe into the hot tub. If we knew what it was exactly, it would’ve put our minds at ease somewhat. A few things that need to be improved is that the shower didn’t drain well and water pooled up around the shower, which was pretty gross. The shower water didn’t get hot enough and the small shower head kept falling down. A few small things like providing some shampoo, conditioner and soap would’ve been a nice touch that we’ve had provided at other nearby cottages. The handle on one of the knifes in the kitchen was not in great condition and should probably be replaced for safety reasons.

The cottage has a beautiful view & was a lovely place to stay at the start of our holiday in Iceland. The kitchen had everything we needed for basic cooking and even had nice glasses for drinking wine. The wifi was great and we streamed Netflix on our laptop when it was too rainy outside. There were heaters in the living area, bedroom and bathroom, which kept us cozy & warm! Overall the cottage was relatively clean. The hot tub in our particular cottage was under cover with glass windows to see the view outside and this made it perfect for a relaxing arvo while it was stormy and raining outside.

my flight was cancelled and we missed our first night which was communicated over 24 hours in advance and there was no refund or discount. The operator was very nice but had a hard time understanding English. She is polish. A hamburger at the restaurant was 25 dollars and the lasagna was 30 dollars (USD), which I had heard was the case but still expensive.

the accommodations were good for the three people we had traveling. the place was clean and convenient. the restaurant had good food. There was a few store type items, milk, yogurt, ect. We had a hot tub and the view of the mountains were beautiful!
