This is more general problem in Iceland but they do not have ventialation and the room is very moist in the morning with no air left.

The breakfast restaurant has an exceptional view and breakfast itself is nice as well (you can have a cod-oil shot for example to start your day). And the staff is vey nice and helpful. Location is great to start your clockwise journey on ringroad if you arrive in the evening.

the hotel fire alarm went off for no reason in the middle of the night for no reason and we had to get out in the hallway in our pjs. It was turned off very quickly and we could return to bed, but it was a scary situation

everything was wonderful for our 2 nights stay, the room warm and cozy, the beds were super comfy and the breakfast was beyond expectations, with a wide variety of food and drinks. they even had shots of fish oil if you were brave enough. The restaurant view is 360 and it's amazing. If we ever go back to Iceland, this hotel is definitely on my list.

The only thing I would like to see changed, is the shower area. When you shower, the water runs all over because there is not a proper drainage system in place to allow water to drain fast enough

A stylish and tidy comfortable hostel. A little minus for people who do not want to share the shower rooms - other than that: nice location, restaurant with pizza / breakfast possible, very comfortable to hang out in the evening.

The dining room was stunning, the food was incredible, the setting was remote enough to enjoy the feeling of freedom in the country but still with very easy access to the main road.

1) The bed was actually two small mattresses next to each other, meaning there’s this awkward seam down the middle of the sleeping area. 2) We came with a young child, and the restaurant seats all hotel guests together at dinner. Our young child was behaving like a young child, and I really wished there had been a family-friendly corner - or takeaway boxes - for us to eat without disturbing the other guests. 3) Some information or recommendations about the area would have been appreciated, but weren’t volunteered by the staff. We discovered a map with regional highlights only at check-out.

1) The rooms were comfortable, clean, and modern. 2) The buffet breakfast included warm options - freshly made pastries, scrambled and boiled eggs, porridge, etc. 3) The hotel itself is newly renovated, and has a charming mix of historic and fresh elements. 4) The location and view are exceptional. 5) The restaurant staff were friendly, especially Claudia who was incredibly sweet and accommodating for our 4-year-old daughter.

A luxury hotel in the middle of Iceland. A very beautiful and comfortable hotel, which was so nice to come to after the harsh weather. In general, entering this hotel after a whole rainy day and a long road with a small child, we felt like we were in paradise. The staff was very responsive and helped with everything from buying postage stamps to washing children's clothes. Very clean, great breakfast with a shot of fish oil.

It would be nice if the hotel room has a small fridge as most people stay here are travelers and we would take some food with us on the way .We had to leave the food in the car during night but the temperature is almost same as daytime in the summer so they were wasted.

The hotel is very clean and comfortable, the staffs were friendly and helpful. Great view restaurant on 4th floor, fantastic breakfast .

Bed was too soft for us. Main problem for us was that we could hear the noises from the adjacent rooms and every time the guests in the room above us flushed the toilet, it sounded as if a flood was coming down the drain…
