Worth the price. A bit far from town center but within driving distance. Room a bit small but acceptable because it’s iceland :p

The apartment is old and could use updating. It also wasn't cleaned properly prior to our stay (used sandwich maker, dust & debris on & in dresser). The heating was wonky & the apartment was on the cold side. You had to make sure that each door was closed to maintain warmth, especially the door between the bathroom and kitchen.

The lobby with hot beverages was great. The game area was nice but not completed (no darts available). The apartment was very spacious and fit our needs for 3 nights. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. If we requested supplies or needed the walkway salted, they were very quick to respond. The property is a beautiful farm. There are Icelandic horses on the property, which were beautiful to watch.

The only thing is that Rooms are not very quiet. But it was not bad and we received earplugs so it was also nice:)

Clean and nice room. Good location for travelling in South. Coffee, Tea and Cocoa was for free which was really nice:)

It's not so bad; it's just something to be aware of. When it is cold, the building with the rooms is not connected to the main building with the dining hall.

Friendly and helpful staff. Comfy rooms. Nice facility with activities and a restaurant. It's a little out on its own, so bring food with you or plan to eat there. It's a great spot to see the Northern lights; you just need to wait out the motion lights.

Great location, loved the common area, the complimentary tea and coffee. We had dinner in the restaurant with great desserts.

It was a little small for 3 people but the room was still nice and clean

The location was perfect for what we needed. We wanted to see northern lights, and the limited light in the area definitely allowed us to see them, which isn't as common during the time of year we were there.

this guesthouse has a good value and location for who drives at iceland. People are friendly and help us warm the meal. They have a large public living room for entertainments. The bed room is good but not large. The shower water is warm in the cold October. The room is also warm for sleeping. I would recommend this guesthouse for tourists.

The bathroom in the “cottage” was very small, a bit impractical. The shower could definitely use an update.

Very friendly staff, great common area with pool table, darts,… The location was great, quiet and isolated, yet close to many great viewpoints. Our room was a little separate “cottage” with small, private bathroom included.

10 min drive from ring road. Great spot for aurora if weather permits. Beautiful scene by water.

Out cottage was very small. The bathroom was also very small. Much smaller than we had anticipated. If we had know, we may have opted to stay in the main guesthouse. However, if you want privacy and don't mind the smallness then the cottages might be for you.

The staff were super friendly and very helpful. We arrived late and they were very accommodating. The place was very clean. The common place is nice to hang out.

Clean, well-appointed rooms, very comfortable beds. Wonderfully friendly and helpful staff. One evening, they alerted all of us who were in the common area that the Northern lights were visible, which was magical to see. Wide range of breakfast options. We ate at their restaurant one night, their daily fish special was very good. The pizza was very good as well.

Clean warm cozy room & bathroom. Friendly personell, very easy check-in/check-out process. Nice shared living room with plenty of sitting options & games to spend your evenings in. Given the place is located in the middle of countryside, you'll need a car to get there.

It is a somewhat utilitarian guesthouse, apparently better suited to groups than individual travellers. There are no cooking facilities, and access to the breakfast room is restricted to certain hours which is not ideal for early starters. The staff were less welcoming and friendly than other guesthouses we stayed at in Iceland.

The guesthouse is in a beautiful location, off the main tourist trail. The family room was comfortable and clean. The lounge space was nice for relaxing. There is plenty of parking close to the rooms.

There is no communal kitchen, and since it is quite remote, there is almost an obligation to eat at the restaurant.

The staff were very friendly and there was free coffee available. The room had it's own bathroom, which was nice.

The location is great with a stunning view. You can enjoy the vastness of Iceland from this place, and they offer coffee and tea in the hall, which is a nice touch.
