Such a nice place !! We checked in late and had to leave early the next morning. We were only there for one night but wished we could’ve stayed longer. The rooms are beautiful, with privâtes bathroom and parking spots. Quiet area and it had everything we needed. The reception and restaurant looked beautiful too, really wished we could’ve stayed !!!

Room was perfect--cozy and cabin-like. (Geothermal heat, so VERY warm!) We loved waking up early to watch the cows being milked--the farm staff were friendly and happy to talk through the process, and I loved being able to pet the cows! Included breakfast was good value. Highly recommend making the short trip to the Myvatn Thermal Pools--it was our favorite lagoon experience of the trip.

Despite the restaurant closing at 2100, food service stops prior to that. We missed out on eating at the restaurant but such is life. Would be good if it was advertised what time is cut off.

    Such a cosy spot.

Everything, the rooms were cosy and clean, the food at the restaurant was divine, the lamb shank was lit! But by far the best was the staff from arrival with Agnes and the being advised all the best places to go by Gosha the Polish host with the most and the restaurant manager, they were all engaging, helpful and friendly, we were travelling Iceland for ten nights and this was the stand out ♥️

    That we didn't stay longer

First of all wow the cottages were super cozy with floor warming. (I love that). Everything was nice and clean and the beds were comfy. There's not much else I can say about it no negative things. And then the main building wow. We were greeted by super enthusiastic staff and they were so friendly. They asked us about our vacation and our plans. And they even gave some good recommendations. Also when my friend her snow boots got torn up in the front and in the back they had DUCKTAPE :D. So she could fix it. Ducktape fixes anything. And you could pet the cows :D. Also a good recommender is the breakfast boi was it Tasty and most of the products were produced locally

To me was pretty hard to find the lobby to do check in because I arrived at noon. I would put some signals in the highway to make easier the arrival of guests.

The installations are nice and cozy, the breakfast is delicious and I liked the concept of put the dinner room with windows to see the farm. The bathroom has a shampoo which smells amazing.

There is no ceiling light in the room which makes insufficient light. It's a little inconvenient for a person who needs stronger light.

The size of the room fits for 2 people. Sufficient hanging area for coats...

Couldn't think of anything to improve this great place, only more time there to enjoy it!

Absolutely loved this place but due to our schedule we needed to leave early the next day so couldn't enjoy breakfast there. The restaurant was exceptional - the service, ambiance and food were a very high standard. With the added bonus of going into the Cowshed to meet the calves and cows! Plus we got to see the Aurora in this location just topped off a fabulous but too short stay! We will definitely be back to enjoy more of what the area has to offer.

Our three-night stay at the Vogafjos Farm Resort in Mývatn was truly magical, as we were fortunate to witness the stunning Aurora Borealis just outside our cabin doorsteps, perfectly living up to its reputation as the capital of northern lights. The cozy and comfortable lodging made the experience well worth the price, despite the food being a bit on the pricey side. Overall, the breathtaking views and unique atmosphere made it an unforgettable getaway!

The bathrooms are a little small, but the rooms are a really good size overall. There's also not much sound protection between rooms, and people tend to leave early.

Being able to visit and pet the cows is lovely, they're a happy health bunch and it makes eating the dairy they produce so much nicer. The restaurant gives the option of the inside of the cow shed out of one window and glorious scenery out of the other.
