Slightly better equipped kitchen would be better. May be a couple of cups and plates!

We were looking for a property close to the airport since we landed late. Just the right place. Clean and perfect if you are looking for something around the Keflavik area to crash for a night.

There is no restaurant in hotel or I town, either there is no supermarket nearby.

Staff was helpful, willing to make even small soup to us. Room was comfortable and clean.

A good place to stay for one night. It’s close to Blue Lagoon and convenient for catching an early flight the next day. The staff is friendly and helpful with room upgrades. The bed is comfortable.

Was not a fan of the breakfast selection, but part of that was me being picky. It’s a decent price given there’s not much for breakfast in the area.

I stayed in a quadruple room with 2 other people. The room was very clean and there was space to leave all our luggage. The shared bathrooms were well kept and I think the floor was even heated. There was a food option within walking distance.

For what it provides, this hotel is completely overpriced, even by Icelandic standards.

The main advantage of this hotel is its proximity to the airport Keflavik, making this a good stop for the first or last night in Iceland.

We stayed at Hotel Vogar because of its close proximity to the current volcanic eruption on the Reykjanes peninsula. It was very budget friendly and tidy. We enjoyed our pleasant interactions with the hotel staff. Our bathroom mates in the shared bathroom were very tidy and quiet.

Location - convenient as we arrived in KEF airport quite late in the evening. So we stayed here as it is short drive from the airport. Reception - available for late check-ins and early check outs.

We stayed here on our last night in Iceland, only to wake to our bodies covered in fresh painful bites. We informed management on our way to the airport and showed them our bites. My partner had to visit an emergency clinic once home for the inflammation and doctor confirmed bed bugs. We asked for a refund from management and have heard NOTHING following the initial acknowledgement. The hotel was run down and did not feel clean so not a surprise. Do not recommend unless you want to risk it.

The room was too far inside into the building. We stayed only for a night to repack before an early flight.. It was difficult to carry luggage that far. We requested for a room closure to the parking, but nothing was available. The room had a musty smell and it was small.

Facilities disappointing. A fridge was advertised but there was none. Our bedroom was next to smoking area, so there were constantly people standing outside our widow smoking, which was unpleasant. There was a large sofa in the room which was very dirty. Beds were very soft and not very comfortable

Wish there were blackout curtains on the door. When you went from the bedroom into the entrance hall the light woke whoever was still sleeping. AND that's the absolute only thing I would add.

We chose to stay in an out of the way place instead of staying in Reykjavik. Vogar seemed the perfect spot. Sitting between the airport and Reykjavik, the stillness of the town was welcoming. The room was warm and welcoming. The bed very comfortable. There were blackout curtains, down duvets and down pillows. After the noise of NYC, it was wonderful to relax. Check in was simple and the gentleman at the desk, friendly.
