Only one key was provided. Although not a deal breaker for staying again, it did require some coordination for my spouse and me who have different sleep schedules. Knowing how safe Iceland is, I would stay here again if traveling solo. However, if you are female and travelling solo from the US, this location may feel a little odd when you check in as there is no on-site host. When we arrived, there was no one there and the front door was wide open. Had we not been the first arrivals that day, we may not have felt as unsure as we did. This location has three different Lambafell accommodations as well as one from another hotel group. Better signage clearly indicating that this building is located at the end of the long driveway would go a long way to making arrival feel more comfortable.

The room was comfortable. The location is good for a drive along the southern coast. We liked our room's access to the spa tub. The location was excellent for the amazing northern lights we saw. Once we found the correct location, the phone mentioned in the instructions was easy to find and the host gave me the numbers needed to access the room. The common room has lots of comfortable seating and several games. Several reviews have mentioned breakfast: Breakfast was fine (if you are from the US, this was on par with a mid-level hotel breakfast) but not as good as what we experienced at the other inns we visited during our stay.

Water temperature in the shower is a crap shoot. One second it is freezing and the next second your skin is falling off because of 3rd degree burns.

The hot tub could have been hotter. I think the breakfast room and the main living area need to rearranged, the layout is awkward. Our room really needed bedside lamps, and a towel warmer. We understood the check in procedure, but so many people coming in after us didn't. You should have a sign telling people to check their emails and what the free wifi network is.

Breakfast was well done, staff at breakfast was really attentive. The location was lovely, very peaceful and beautiful, though far from anywhere to eat dinner. I liked they left out treats and hot drinks for us to help ourselves to in the evenings.

Room was a bit cold, but it heats up relatively quickly with the heater that was in it. Hand towels are quite small.

The mattress are horrible and you have to self check in by 9pm. No staff around. It is an analogue check in.

Location surrounded by nature mountains. Close to Falls. Faxy bakery nearby is very good for coffee and pasteries. The hotel UMI nearby has an amazing restaurant for dinner.This is a typical lodge.

i have found some difficulties to get the keys from my room. there is no tv set on the room. there is no restaurant on the hotel. it is quite distant from restaurant or gas stations.

I would have preferred a room with a view other than the parking lot, but I guess someone has to stay there. There was not a cooling unit or fan in the room, which was extremely hot and stuffy and smelled like sulphur. Although the sulphur smell from the geothermal areas was strong, it is definitely a smell you have to get used to. It wasn't terrible by any means, but it was definitely noticeable.

Loved the hospitality, although a little tough to figure out how to get into the building. I did read other reviews on the same issue, having to text on arrival, but they were super quick to respond. The amenities available on site were extremely charming. grounds were beautiful. Lots of great food available. Coming in after a long day, to find 3 layer chocolate cake waiting at midnight was super charming. Breakfast had a great variety, variety of coffee types, tea and snacks throughout the day if you were there during that time, and treats at night. And EPIC photos of the area!!

The cold water did not work for half our stay and managment was not very communicative. It was the local staff that helped us be more comfortable. The water in the hot tub was rather cold.

The location is very nice with natural wood and a commonroom with a fireplace. The staff really went beyond to make out stay as comfortable as possible.
