“Thank you Stefania for such a lovely stay at Sorahnia. We really enjoyed the breakfast and Mike said it was the best cappuccino in town. The homemade cakes were delicious. Your ability to speak so many languages made it all the more enjoyable for all the visitors.”
“The room was nice and large and tastefully furnished. Very central to Agrigento Central Storica and close to Valley of the Temples. Sylvistre the host was friendly and communication via WhatsApp was good. He even arranged a discount at local restaurants for us!
The breakfast is provided at the bar next door and is fairly basic.”
“Beautiful accommodation, perfectly located for our stay in Agrigento. The room was very clean, well equipped and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. Andreas, our host was most welcoming, helpful and helped to make our trip smooth and enjoyable. Parking was easy and free nearby. Walking distance to the town and handy for a visit to the Valley of the Temples. I would 100% recommendation a stay here.”
“Alfonso and his wife Pina were wonderful hosts. The bedrooms are unique and typically old style Sicilian. Alfonso gave us a lot of information to make our stay a great experience. The breakfast was an absolute 10/10 with Pina dishing up all the local treats as well as a cooked breakfast
There is plenty of free parking right outside the property. The location is at the very top of the hilltop town and most of the restaurants are located further down. About a 5-10 minute walk ( quite a few steps) but okay and it's good for the waist-line to burn a few calories after enjoying delicious Sicilian food. 😋
Thank you Alfonso and Pina”
“It was nice and clean overall. The hosts were responsive and accommodating. The breakfast was very good.
The only downsides were: poor WiFi signal in our room; short breakfast time window; thin walls and windows that made every sound audible in the building.
Also the power and water was disabled for half of one of the days that we stayed there, which meant we had to go elsewhere to a bar for breakfast which was not ideal . It was for maintenance, which is understandable, but we were not informed before or after booking. We weren't informed until the day before it happened.”
“Room was lovely, bed was comfortable. Shower was warm although I couldn’t get the rain shower to work so had to hold the hand held one.
Easy walk to the Temple.
Breakfast was simple. It would have been nice to maybe have some background music. It was so quiet that everyone was whispering to each other.
We weren’t keen on the area the B&B was in. Directly behind there were flats and the area was full of mounds of discarded rubbish, mattresses and dogs mess.
It was nice having a balcony but we didn’t realise it would be overlooking such a busy road.
Even being next to the road the room was quiet with double glazed windows.
Friendly, helpful staff.”
