The bathroom needs privacy, not having a door or any shield to separate it is not always comfy or natural.

Room was very comfortable and finished to a very high standard. Good location at the edge of the Sassi with a 40 min walk taking you around the main sites in a circular route. Greeting was welcoming and breakfast was good too.

- The backside of a room in the Sassi is the lack of windows and natural light in the room (however, the adjacent terrace was in very nice location)

The room has no windows.

We had a nice and huge cave room with two beds across each other. The shower was kinda unique. The location is also good. Breakfast is included in the price. Good for one night.

Didn’t like the split level bed area - steep stairs up and very little headroom over the bed. Had hoped to be in a cave….

Good location near edge of sassi so didn’t have to carry luggage too far. We had a wonderful view from our little balcony. The bathroom was top quality.

Had to be careful getting in and out of the bed which was in an alcove on a mezzanine floor and hence very low ceiling - mind your head!

Perfect location for exploring Matera with easy parking only a 5 minute walk away. Wonderful view from the little balcony. Clean and spacious room and bathroom. Very efficient communication from the host although we didn’t actually meet her until the end of our stay

Breakfast could have been better. Little option, it would be great if it included more fruit. Be aware that since the room is in a cave it does not have a window and all the sunlight you get is from the main door. It was fine for me but my friend felt a bit claustrophobic.

There was a weird spot in the shower with no finish/paint on the floor, but it wasn’t a big deal.

Amazing view! Great location, specially if want to stay in the historical center which is a ztl so cars can’t come in, because it is just on the each of the ztl, so short walk with the luggage.

nothing. air-conditioner is old takes some time to get going. water provided was gaseuse, we drink natural water but there was a water dispenser at reception, just outside our room.

Definitely one of the best places i have ever been. Absolutely amazing. Arranged with style, unique, we had compliment drinks, breakfast was great, we had great coffee, we even had a map of town. I will definitely try to come again on the same place.
