I booked for 4 nights, my flight was landing at midnight in Rome and I was going to arrive at the accommodation between 1-2 am. I informed my arrival time to the accommodation. The first night was booked and paid. I gave notice of my arrival and asked them to provide me with the access code and hide the keys so I could access on my arrival and the only solution they gave me was to wait until 10.00 am or they would provide me with another accommodation on the same street but I had to pay another 35 euros, so I declined. Conclusion: as they did not provided me with a code or keys I could not sleep in the accommodation the first night and I did not get my money back. In addition, there is a lot of noise during the night and poor cleanliness.

It wasn't clean enough. Especially the bathroom wasn't being cleaned properly. Maybe you could stay for one day, but I struggled to stay for 4 nights. It wasn't suitable for someone who values cleanliness. The rooms were small and cramped.

I arrived in the middle of the night and was asked to call 10 minutes in advance. But although I called as asked, nobody was there when I arrived at the hostel. I had to call again and had to wait another 15 minutes outside in the stairwell. Fortunately my roommates had not been asleep... The room had 4 electric sockets behind the 4 beds, which were hardly reachable from the upper bed. Also just 2 of them were working, which I didn't notice when I arrived. Therefore my phone didn't charge over night and I had to wait for it in the morning. The light switch in the bathroom was also an issue, we had to be very careful using it while not receiving an electric shock. The upper beds have no storage or shelf, the lower beds have one nightstand each. No individual light, USB etc at the beds. I missed hooks in the bathroom, obviously they had been removed because the holes were still there. Our room had a tiny fridge which did not seem to work properly. Therefore the fridge in the main area was stuffed. The kettle should be cleaned more often: I had to remove a thick white layer of limestone before using it. The elevator is very small and sometimes does not stop at the right floor, pushing the button AFTER the door had closed seemed to help. But therefore you have to wait even longer for the elevator.

The hostel is very close to any kind of public transport (metro,bus,railway). The room+bathroom were clean, fortunately my room faced an inner light yard so I only heard part of the restaurant noise downstairs. Sheets and towels were provided and were changed after 2 nights. I liked that only females were allowed. The beds were comfortable. Each lady has her own locker with its key, located in the hallway. The room was equipped with 1 desk, 1 chair, 1 closet with 8 hangers, 2 nightstands (for 4 people) and 1 small chest to put in some shoes or bags. In the bathroom was a hairdryer and a small rack for the towels. Water pressure and temperature were good. Shower curtain looked rather new. Main area: I liked the tiny kitchen area with a kettle, Nespresso coffee machine and fridge. Plastic cups, spoons, black tea and even Zwieback bread is provided. I never found capsules for the coffee machine though. I guess you just have to take them with you. I went back home rather late so I could leave my luggage at the partner hostel very close by (appr. 5 min walk) at no extra cost. Thank you again!

It was way too expensensive for what you get... I was not satisfied with the communication from the owners and the room. The room was small and I didn't have a plug connection next to the bed so had to charge it in the bathroom (which is a risk of stealing)

It is fine to sleep there for 1 night.The location was perfect, if you need to go to the station.

next to the bed where i slept, there was an electricity cable, i was sleeping and I touched it, i felt electricity all over my hand, at 2AM, this was very dangerous!!! i told the staff and they asked to change my bed, but did not remove the cable! also there is one night club near to the hostel, it’s very very noisy and couldn’t sleep before 2, the hostel price i think is very high if you consider what they offer

EXTREMELY LOUD, the bar below is playing extremely loud music till very late at night so it is really difficult to sleep. I couldn't sleep well either of the nights I stayed there. There is no common areas The whole place stinks, its humid They should charge at least half the price for such a bad night sleep

The reception was most of the time empty. It has no kitchen and the fridge is not clean sometimes.

I like the overall cleanliness of the place. I stayed in a female dormitory . They cleaned the toilet and room everyday. The room has got an ac and enough space for storage. They keep languages for free. They provide fresh towels, bedsheet.

The room has old furniture, dirty walls, small elevator. Low water supply pressure and a nonfunctional hair dryer. Besides that, the loudness from the ground floor bar that is open till 2:30AM didn’t let us rest.

1. Be aware, you have to stay outside waiting for long and no answer telephone,because they are not there always even if they say åben time is from 9:30. Many people experienced the same,og the staff say også selv, that it is normal for their guests waiting. 2. I moved from other place to Guesthouse Alex, but it was even worse actually - small room, luggage everywhere... No place to sit down for eating or for public use in this hostel, the only place you have is your bed . 3. The sheet is not very clean. 4. The drain in the Bathroom is blocked.

The staff was rude, they do not care what guests say, just woke up, came without knocking, opened the window, on my request to stop it because I was asleep they said that they do not care. Disgusting attitude.!! Also nowhere written that on the 1st floor work nightclub !and very noisy until 3 am, can not sleep.!!! Constant noise, it's like a passageway !!!Also, nowhere in the photo did I see mold and dirt, but it is there. Also there is no kitchen no place to drink tea , just in the aisle is a refrigerator and a kettle and that's it!

There is not really where to sit and eat if you buy something from the supermarket (one small table in the dorm and that's it).

It's possible to leave your backpack here if you arrive early. Friendly staff. Here is a kettle, free instant coffee and tea. Also microwave and small fridge. It wasn't overpriced during the new year.

Met some really great friends while staying here for 4 nights. Great communication before arrival & very clean bathrooms(cleaned daily) (all girls dorm) comfy beds & secure lockers. Even tho there was no traditional kitchen, they still had a fridge, kettle and cutlery so shopping at the deli, it was easy to make sandwiches in the room. Walking distance to all the major sights, even in the heat, or there is a bus stop close by. Highly recommend, very affordable for Rome & wish I could have stayed longer.

The shower stall could be a bit more cleaner and this stay is not an option for people who want a good night sleep because of the bar downstairs. The main entrance is always open so felt a bit not secure. The charger socket with stuck between the beds and was difficult to access.

The stay is easily accessible location from Termini and there are nearby bus stops and metro accessible by walk in 5 minutes, also restaurants are nearby. There is a lift in the building for easy access.
