The location is excellent- walking distance to both train stations and to the quieter side entrance to Pompeii. The hosts are really lovely- friendly and very helpful. The hostel felt like a home away from home. We really enjoyed our stay.

Though it wasn’t an issue for me, it’s worth noting that for bookings under €50, it is expected to pay in cash. It also wasn’t a problem for me but they ask that guests be out of the hostel from 10-2 as this is when they do cleaning which is reasonable but worth noting for those who do not have this preference

This place was great! The staff were super friendly, the location was fantastic, and the place was very well maintained. This was a great place to stay which I am happy to have found! The Pompei train station is less than a 10 minute walk away and one of the entrances for the ruins of Pompei is within about 10/15.

The location is great. Very close to the main street and ruins. Hostel is amazing, you can enjoy in the garden surrounded with trees. AC is always on so you wont get any bothering by the heat. The owners are wondering , they are amazing. Radiating positive energy and happiness. Thanks for everything, it was the one of the best hostel i have every stayed at.

They let me know many things about Pompeii. Like a good restaurant and the Sunday of first week, free entry to pompeii archeological site. Beautiful garden and share space are also perfect! You will not be regretted

The personel Vincenzo and his wife are AMAZING hosts. Always ready to answer your questions and smiling. The dorm and the whole place was nice and clean with the lockers for personal belongings which is nice to have. Guitar and small electric piano were fun to play. Summary: one of the best hostels I've had the pleasure to stay in. Highly recommend. Lorena and Vincenzo are kind hosts and an amazing team! Agora Hostel is incredibly well run, clean and comfortable. Every day the hostel is given a thorough cleaning. The dorm rooms are air conditioned and spacious with comfy beds, a locker space and cupboard draw for each guest. There is also very large indoor and outdoor communal sitting areas and the bar prices for their drinks are very reasonable. Best of all are Lorena and Vincenzo! They are both very warm, kind hearted, friendly and knowledgeable. You could tell immediately that the hostel was well run from Lorena's initial welcome briefing. Both her and Vincenzo provided me with a lot of useful information and recommendations for visiting the tourist areas (Pompeii, Vesuvius, Herculaneum, etc.) The service and facilities were so good that I extended my stay at Agora and used it as a base for exploring the surrounding region (i.e. Sorrento).

It's not that I did not like it, but I think it is useful to know that there is a shower and two toilets in the room. The sink is literally in the room. So if you brush your teeth, everyone in the room will hear and see it.

Loved the energy of the receptionist, the garden and location and many more things felt like an exotic place to stay.

I got a bit cold during the night because of the airconditioner, I couldn't find the remote so I could adjust it. Maybe it was there but I didn't see, I don't know I was tired :D
