The only thing that would work in plus would be TV set with internet connection. Sometimes when we travel the whole family we like to watch Netflix in the evenings.

We had a really lovely stay there. We stayed in 6-persons appartment and it was really large and well equipped. Host is very nice and helpful. Swimming pool is great and well maintained. Kitchen had everything we needed. Quiet surroundings, nature and short drive to Volterra. Highly recommending trying dinner served by Alex and cooked by his mom! That was exactly what we've been looking for :-)

Couldn’t fault it. Just remember your mosquito spray! If staying in a larger group, more mirrors would be handy but not essential as each room has a small mirror.

The pictures do not do the property justice. It exceeded our expectations. The property is a good size for a group and boasts an onsite authentic Italian restaurant where Alex hosts dinner for guests, cooked by his mother. A lot of care and attention has been put into the restaurant and the food does not disappoint! Alex messaged us before our stay about arranging a dinner for us and we didn’t know what to expect so didn’t book for our first night but we wish we had booked it for more than just one evening. We can’t stress enough that you should definitely book the dinner at least once, if you are staying here! The carefully curated set menu is exquisite and shows off local produce and specialty dishes. The villa is a short drive to the neighbouring towns. Alex is an amazing host.

Missing a few small details (I can only comment for our room): A mirror in the bedroom part. The bathroom needs an extra.floor mat, especially in Spring when the floor is still cold. Hooks to hang coats.

A lovely location to access Volterra, San Gimignano and Colle di Val d'Elsa - giving options for food as there is nothing on the doorstep. The roads, despite windy, are very good condition. A very clean accommodation, in a beautiful, quiet area. Rolling hills as a wake-up view. A big bathroom that has been very nicely refurbished.

Everything was good we liked the whole experience.

Plenty of space, being in the counrtyside was great. Beautiful . Loved our dinner very special, great food. Need a car but easy to explore this area of Tuscany. Alex was a great host.

We really loved the location, just few minutes away from Volterra, but in a very quiet and fascinating area. The room was big and equipped with everything we needed. Didn't have the chance to try the pool, but it looked great. Thanks Alex for the flexibility with our time of arrival.

Stunning location and grounds.It was well situated for visits to Siena,Florence,Cecina(beach) and Pisa .Well equipped swimming pool.Spacious 4 bed house which had a kitchen which was easy to cook in.Alex was very helpful with anything which we needed.Volterra was only 10 minutes away with plenty of restaurants,bars,shops and supermarkets.We hope to visit again.

we stayed 2 weeks at La Quiete. We would come back definitely, this is why: very friendly and helpfully host Alessandro Nice house, quietly environment, fully equipped, beautiful views (especially by sunset) More space (inside and outside) than excepted based on the photo’s. we could easily host our parents as well. we had several terraces outside The owners organized a dinner with local food once a week. It was really fantastic/outstanding(5 cours), and for a good price. We enjoyed a lot of the swimming pool, the lovely city Volterra closeby. it was hot in July/august and it was really dry, hopefully rain is coming quickly our kids loved to spot deers in the garden by sunset

Probably for hygiene reasons there was nothing comestibles available (so bring salt, pepper, herbs, coffee filters, detergent, ….. ) . We did some exchange with the other resident. Be aware that due to its site there is no mobile phone reach at the residence.

Beautiful and well equipped residence. A warm welcome was given by Alex. To dinner evenings were offered by Alex but unfortunately the invitation came late and we already had planned other activities. Nice and clean pool at 200 m.

Very warm welcome by Alessandro, he gave us some home made products as a gift. We have never met such a grate host as Alessandro! The house and the surrounding landscape was amazing, we saw deers, squirrels. It's more beautiful, than on the photos. We had 3 terraces, two bathrooms and 3 bedrooms. The swimming pool was beautiful too and clean. We recommend it, and will definitly go back!

If you expect the entire house, you will be disappointed as there will be other guests all around you. Information about this apartment was wrong, we booked "entire 3 bedroom holiday home", but this was not an entire house, but apartment, we were accommodated in the first floor, another family was staying in the first floor just above our apartment and another family next to us. Both families had small kids... We bought this accommodation as we wanted to have the house only for us, we would never book an apartment as peace and silence is very important to us. Also the whole apartment is not connected - there is a kitchen, one bedroom with a living room and one bathroom and if you want to go to the next 2 bedrooms, you have to go out, go up a few steps and across a small terrace to the other 2 bedrooms, which is not comfortable - but you can get used to it.

The accommodation was very clean, Alessandro and all staff was very willing and kind, furnishing of the apartment was pleasant. The pool was very good and refreshing!

Alexandro was an excelent host! And the place is breathtaking. Calmness and amazing views in our best stay in la Toscana. Would definitely come back! Volterra just a few minutes away from the House!
