Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Nothing. It was great for us
Perfect location just a few minutes walk from the airport which felt safe even late at night after a delayed flight. The owner was welcoming, our room simple, clean with a very comfortable bed. The bathrooms were just next door to our room and also exceptionally clean. Breakfast is help yourself with good coffee, toast, pastries etc and a garden to eat in or your room if you prefer. We picked our hire car up from down the road the next morning to continue our journey but if you were exploring Pisa it's a reasonable walk into the city or minutes back to the PisaMover shuttle at the airport. For the price we couldn't fault Ai 4 Elementi and would recommend it if you need to be near the airport

Location to airport is fantastic. A short walk away. The coat is good value. The pics do not do this guesthouse justice. Enrico has so much pride in his home. The bed was so comfortable.

Could hear some of other guests making quite a bit of noise . They stopped circa 1 pm which wasnt too bad ,
the location was great ..within easy walking distance of Pisa Airport and the Pisa"mover" shuttle service to the Pisa Central train station ...We were not hiring a car so this was very convenient and Pisa Centrale station is jsut about 10 minutes hop on the the shuttle service.. The house was very clean and comfortable and the host was very hopitable ..Breakfast was great with a nice variery to choose from .

Small papers with strict rules posted from the common door to the inside of your room kinda stressed me out haha.
The room was nice. I like that there were many towels in the bathroom.

We would have prefer to have our own bathroom.
We just needed a room for a night as our plane landed late at night and we couldn't collect the rental car on that evening. The hotel is just next to the airport and at a reasonable price. It was perfect for what we needed. Enrico kept a good communication with us and accommodate to welcome us despite our plane being delayed and landing at 1am.

We left a jacket and the host contacted us immediately, so we were able to pick it up when we left. Great location for airport, good breakfast and lovely people. 2nd time stayed there after flying into Pisa would definitely do again.

I must very much appreciate an approach of the host, Enrico. Our flight was quite a lot delayed (several hours) so we landed in the middle of the night and I did not suppose that we would still spend our night in the hotel on the way to our final destination. But, Enrico waited and called and finally welcomed us so we had a very good sleep after all the airport madness. In the morning we enjoyed nice breakfast and could continue on our way. So once again BIG THANK YOU!

Inflexibility of letting us in before 6pm we had to hang around 45 minutes in scorching heat.

i think I am not seeing a lot of drawbacks. The room might have been a bit colder (it was quite hot) but when we turned the air conditioner for a while it was okay.
A wonderful place if you need to stay somewhere late at night after your flight🥺 Our flight was late, like - really really delayed and I was worried about our stay. The owner waited for us and welcomed us warmly, waiting for us to put our stuff down and calm down a bit. He showed us everything we needed to know, the place was quiet, we had some cold water to drink, prepared coffee for the morning and there was absolutely no problem for us to leave at 6.50 am as we needed to for our flight. The owner is extra nice, the place is very close to the airport and very nice- clean, there are towels, the breakfast is also great - you choose whatever you want to - there’s both cookies, chips, cereal, bread, pastries, fresh fruit and yoghurt. Im just sorry we couldn’t stay longer and we needed to eat this in a hurry. We were a total mess that night (we were supposed to arrive at 12 am, we did nearly at 3 am, so we had just 3 hours of sleep left). Although, our stay was all we needed and we really enjoyed it. The area is also calm and pretty. Huge thanks to the owner and warm recommendation :) Grazie mille❤️

The only slight inconvenience was that the owner was on the phone when i arrived so I had to wait to enter the property, but I appreciated the gated security so it was not really a problem.
I had a great stay at this hotel. I stayed the night before an early flight from Pisa Airport and the location is great. It was a simple 5min walk and it felt safe. Additionally, it is not far from the train station. The owner also made things easy by having breakfast open 30min before the first person needed to leave for thei flight (in this case 4am) and there was a great selection of foods - prepackaged and not. Additionally, the owner was able to print my boarding pass for me even though I only asked late in the evening. There were 2 bathrooms to be shared by 4 rooms. I did not think this was an issue and never had to wait to use it. Would recommend to anyone on their first or last night.

The people next door making noise despite being advised by the owner that other people were staying. Don’t know what else he could do.
This is so close to the airport and ideal if arrive late. Enrico was very helpful
