First of all , the picture on the profile of the hotel is completely fake, it has no view to the river at all. There’s only 2 toilets for the whole hostel guests .one of them has broken door which doesn’t luck so when I was sitting in the toilet a guy opened the door and saw me 🤦🏻‍♀️ also when somebody else was taking a shower I opened the door and saw him naked. The room was so cold , I’ve caught a very bad cold and couldn’t enjoy rest of my trip. When I told the hostel owner. He refused and acted like he doesn’t know, but he knew very well . He said the room temperature should be 19 and no more than that and it’s a rule but the other girls had told him the previous nights , it was much colder the other nights (obviously less than 19 degrees) He was so rude and told me go write whatever you want for the review, I’ll answer you. I know he’s gonna write bunch of lies for my answer but I needed to mention it anyway so other people won’t be trapped in this place.

I booked for 2 nights, the morning of first day I left my towel and sock on the bed and slippers by bed and went out. When I came back to room. Someone was sleeping on my bed and my stuff were disappeared. I couldn’t find my stuff. I m told the cleaner could got them. I texted the receptionist he laughed at me. I left the hostel and went to another one. I felt insecure. My stuff was stolen.

I stayed 4 beds room and it was clean.

The hotel was very cold and the heating systems were not working. Hotel employees do not speak English.I didn't sleep well because of the cold room.

The hostel is really old and not maintained at all. One bathroom per floor for 3-4 rooms each room has at least 4 persons inside. In the lockers were not possible to put your stuffs and to lock them, moreover some lockers did not had a hook at all to place your lock, also very small lockers backpack was not fit in. The room was cold

It was my 3rd or 4th time in Venice and every time I visit I talk to Andrea he's wise and fun person with young soul and passion for life. And Angelina is most beautiful, fun and outgoing lady in whole world, I would marry her without a doubt. Maybe in the next life:) Definitely 10stars. It was awesome! I miss y'all !

The entire stay I was bitten by bed bugs, 3 days in a row, bitten all over my body. They were living inside the matress that were uncomfortable. The furniture is filled with bugs, unhealthy to stay in. It was I don't care attitude when I mentioned it to the receptionist. They couldn't do anything to help me. The owners responsibility is to send an expert to the fumigation company. I was supposed to stay 4 days and left at the third day cause of being bitten at night. I paid for a clean, safe, healthy place to sleep and stay. No excuses! Not tolerable! The electric socket the whole thing was completely out of the case, showing all the wires. It's a fire hazard! It was supposed to be venice, a beautiful place to visit and to remember. I would never go back!pictures are of the room, and the bed bugs crawling on the bed. The bathroom was large, but the shower stalled, and they fell out when you showered. No soap to shower, nothing was given to the customer. You have to $ for it! The first pic is of the outlet, only one outlet to share for 4 people, and it hangs out of the wall. Unbelievable! It's the owner, not the workers who are there trying their best. But the owner doesn't care! This a place should be inspected!

It was a good location, but I didn't want to wonder alone at night. It has a kitchen. It was close to the bridge about a 10-minute walk.

In the evening, there was no light on the first floor, so it was difficult to find the reception. The room was full of mosquitoes, there was something to do all night. Cleanliness was not a strong point.

Beds were bad. The room didn't smell so good and it was impossible to open the window because of the noise and the mosquitos. On the way to the shared bathroom you could either tip over a detached carpet or cut your toes with some broken tiles.

The only positive thing was the location, but it was also very extremely loud because of people walking, talking, dinning on the street. Having a fan was good, not fresh air but at least it could be "moved around"

First: the commodities. Only one bathroom and one Toilet for 4 dorms between 3 and 6 beds/dorm. I let you do the math but spoiler alert, it does not work. Second: the room. No lockers, no proper storage. Third: the bed. There was bed bugs in it!!! Fourth: the kitchen. It was disguting with moist and perished food everywhere. Fifth: the Hostel in general was not clean at all.

Nothing, the worst Hostel experience I have ever had.

This is a scandal. 20/09/2023 I arrived at Al botei hostel at 12. They asked me to check in at 14:00 because my room is not ready. I left my luggage and left. At 2:00 p.m. the gentleman gave me the key and when I entered the room it turned out that the room had not been cleaned and my bed had been used. The gentleman asked for 5 minutes and gave me a new sheet, I don't know if the pillow was changed. Generally, all beds were empty but unmade. When I returned from sightseeing to the hotel around 10 p.m., it turned out that I had three other cool companions in the room. I went to sleep. I woke up at night because mosquitoes were biting me. On the morning of 21/09/2023 I checked out at 8:30 and went sightseeing. Itching all day and the plane ride back to England was nice, but 12 of the bites were itchy. I have small wounds where pus is coming out of my skin. This morning, September 22, 2023, it turned out that I was bitten by bedbugs. these are very red bites dangerous to health. Who knows, maybe I left some stray passengers during the plane flight. Today I spent 5 hours cleaning the apartment, washing bedding and clothes from the trip. I am asking for an investigation into the current case. I'm ready to report it. Scandal. Dirty and broken kitchen. disgusting Please close that place.
