Location was excellent, as it was on the quieter side of town but so accessible to everything and lots of cafes, bars and restaurants. The staff were very friendly. The room was on the smaller size but the bed was comfortable and it had everything we needed.

The room is very romantic and spacious. It has a great heater and is also very clean and tidy. It was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. It also has a beautiful view of the canals.

Everything here is expensive, even the small bottle of water provided in the room costs €2.50, which would normally be free in other hotels. And the heating works sometimes and sometimes not.

The location is good, far from the station but close to San Marco Square. The room is large with a balcony facing the river and the shower is good.

a little bit of a distance from the train station, but nice to be away from the main hustle and bustle areas. The 8 o’clock breakfast start time meant we missed out on our included breakfast due to our outgoing flight time.

The room (Jr Suite) was amazing. so much space and a lovely view of the canals below. the lounge area was nice to relax whilst not using the bed. the bathroom facilities were very spacious and comfortable. great spa. the windows allowed us to get some fresh air and view the nightlife. great location close to water taxi pickup spot to the airport.

Decor and furnishings could do with a refurbishing as the interior looks quite dated.

Very clean room and bathroom, spotless and dust-free. Very spacious bedroom and very large bathroom. Tea and coffee facilities provided in the room, as well as extra blanket and pillows. Location is excellent for accessing the tourist hotspots of Venice within a 5min walk.

Regarding comfort, I have two remarks: 1) the was no central light switch, which means that I had to get out of bed to switch off/on the light – the switches behind the bed were just for the table lamps; 2) there was no bedside table, so I used the small chair from the bathroom to put my phone, glass of water, …These were minor inconveniences that did not significantly affect the comfort of the room.

loved the location, size and proximity to touristy sites whilst being off the beaten Track. good atmosphere. great restaurants outside the door. staff great especially one young man who helped my husband when he was ill. the only downside was our room was dark so ask for a room with natural light

there isn’t much of a lobby or restaurant area but there are tons of charming restaurants within meters of the hotel so it doesn’t matter much.

it was in a lovely part of town within easy walk or water taxi to attractions and museums. our room was lovely.

Hotel is in a perfect location. Five minutes walk to St Marks square and more importantly access to all the water taxis and Vaporetto services. It made it so easy to pop across and visit other islands off the lagoon. There is also a ticket office on the waterside selling journeys by boat to the train station or direct to the airport. Quite something to return to the airport via the water. The boat takes you straight into the airport itself. The hotel was clean and we had a huge bedroom on the 2nd floor with an amazing Venetian painted ceiling. The bathroom was also very large and roomy with a bath, overhead shower cubicle and a jet shower. Very well appointed. The breakfast was good. All the usual continental foods on offer plus bacon scrambled eggs and sausage. The best cup of breakfast coffee we have had all holiday. Made freshly for you from the coffee machine on the bar. The hotel is in a quiet street with a gondola stop straight outside the hotel front door. You cant ask for better than that
