We had a wonderful week at Ca’amae! Best located, really clean, cosy accomodation with a great view. Gianluca and the whole staff is super frendly! Ca’amae has the best cafe and the best pizza in the town. Portovenere is so cute and sleepy in March. We loved it.

We loved everything in Portovenere.. Our mini apart was lovely with perfect view. Breakfast with lots of cafe latte & croissants & foccacios.. As expected in Italy.. Although it was out of season and several restaurants were closed we had perfect diners and lunch.. Promenade on the sea side was wonderful... Foccaceria something to come back.. Fresh fish seller, woman, was noted..

I rate this property a 10. There’s nothing we didn’t like.

Perfect location with direct access to ferries to 5 Terre. Breakfast was “whatever you wanted”, eggs, focaccia sandwiches, fruit, brioche-all freshly prepared and delivered with super friendly staff led by Luca, the owner. They went out of their way to make sure we were satisfied. They treated us like family. Upon leaving, Luca carted our luggage straight to our parking garage. Who does this? They do. Highly recommend stay here and ask for a balcony that overlooks the northern end of the gulf of poets.

Beautiful location, clean modern room and great service. Giancarlo was wonderful and took care of every need. My wife and I had a wonderful romantic time at this little boutique hotel with just 3 rooms.

Location…we took the boat to reach Cinque Terre. Coming back it was too late for the boat so we had to take the train to La Spezia. Once there, all taxis were on strike and there is no Uber. It was extremely difficult and expensive finding a solution to get back to Porto Venere.

Location of Ca Amae is stellar. Right in front of the marina in Portovenere, exactly in the direction where the terrace of our room was looking to, enjoying a drink from the terrace with the view was a must. The staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. We wanted to explore some dining options in town, and we actually decided to always have dinner with them in the restaurant downstairs because how nice they were with us during all our stay. We did enjoy late evenings watching Euro Cup games, enjoying great wine from different Ligure wine makers, talking with the hotel staff, enjoying their food, etc. Also, having Portovenere as base to go around Cinque Terre was a great idea, not to crowded (specially evenings), you are able to take the boat just 2min walk from the Hotel!, In summary, a fantastic experience, one of the most welcoming staff I've ever met, for sure we'll try to come back again!

Amazing apartment. Beautiful terrace with great views over sea and harbour. You can sit forever and drink aperitif. Well designed and appointed. Great for exploring Cinque Terre and Portofino. Old world Italy feeling with tremendous hospitality from Luca , Alesandro and the girls!! Portovenere a very charming town. 10 out of 10!

I loved everything from the incredible service and hospitality to the modern room with an amazing view. A truly magical experience that gets my highest recommendation, which isn't easy to do! If I return to Cinque Terre in the future, I'll definitely stay here again.

Shower pressure and bed squeaking the only things we did not like but it’s not major!

The staff was very very nice! We even forgot some Stuff behind and they kindly agreed to ship it for us! Was so so nice of them! The room was clean and spacious, and we enjoyed a lot the breakfast on the balcony, as well as our dog enjoyed watching seagulls from the balcony 😅😅 was handy that the bar was just downstairs! We had a great stay surrounded by nice people ☺️

The water pressure in the shower can be weak at times, but it's not a big deal.

The location is perfect for a relaxed weekend away, and the staff are super friendly and helpful. They will ensure your every need is looked after.

There was absolutely nothing we didn't like.

We spent 3 nights in the Al Gabbiano Suite. We wished we could have stayed longer. It was the perfect location for visiting CT. The ferry boat left within a very short walk. We enjoyed Portovenere so much that we decided to skip the crowds at CT for a day and spend it swimming, exploring the quaint town with it's many shops, and visiting the church at the end of town with it's incredible views. There is a swimming area right outside the suit. The suite was extremely well thought out with everything we needed. We enjoyed evenings sitting on the small balcony overlooking the port while sipping wine. The included breakfast was incredible. We enjoyed dinners in the restaurant below. The staff was extremely friendly and a special thank you to Gianlva and Joanna. They were always happy to help along with everyone else. Awesome shower, comfy bed, great Wi-Fi, great closet space, very clean. We arrived by car and parked in the recommended hotel lot which was a short walk away. We never moved our car while we were there. Gianiva was so helpful in transporting our luggage. We highly recommend staying here and hope to one day visit again. Thank you to the wonderful staff.
