Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Coffee and tea facilities in the room were very limited. Shower cubicle seemed a little small due to the large shower control system.
Great variety of items for continental style breakfast. Friendly staff. Very helpful. Close to centre of Lugo and to the station.

We stayed for one night, the windows of our apartment overlooked the square. The staff was very polite. The room is clean. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was simply amazing. Thanks a lot!

I will prefere more traditional or local brekfast giving the fact we are in Emilia Romagna. Not that breakfast is bad or something but the same one you will find in Bruxelles or Hamburg or...
When I booked this Hotel I expected small familly run hotel but instead found very well run professional hotel with super kind staff, confy and quiet rooms. It's definetly hi class accomodation. Just take a look at guest book on the wall oposite to reception. Some very known names are there. Perfect beds (on the hard side) quiet, nice bathroom and everyday cleaning service. Hi-class like I said.

Very strong audibility from the street, corridors and neighboring rooms. We had a family in the neighborhood with children who screamed very loudly, and drunk tourists screamed very loudly on the street in the middle of the night, but I understand that nothing can be done about this, only if soundproofing is installed.
We were passing through this city and we were lucky to book this hotel very cheaply at the last moment. The room was very clean, large in size, the bed too, it was very comfortable and pleasant to sleep in this bed. I really enjoyed the communication with the hotel staff. Everyone was very friendly, they told us the history of the hotel and various interesting details. We enjoyed walking around this small and cozy town. The breakfast was also quite good and varied. We left the car for the night right outside the hotel for free and paid only 2 euros for the first hours of the next day.

Shower was leaking.
Breakfast was excellent and everyone was very kind. Room was big enough for a family of four. Beds were comfortable with firm mattresses.

I did not dislike anything.
We were in one of the hotel's apartments and it was large and very comfortable. We ate breakfast and dinner in the hotel. The breakfast was good with a good choice of cereals, fruit, cakes, croissants, hot food, tea and coffee. The dinners were excellent and the staff very helpful and attentive. The reception staff were exceptionally helpful and gave extremely helpful advise.

Everything was good.
Perfect central location just a ten minute walk from the train station. The hotel feels very much a part of Lugo's life and culture. I felt welcomed from the moment I walked through the door with attentive and helpful reception staff. My single room was probably at the lower end of the scale but perfectly adequate, and with a comfortable guest size bed. Everything was clean. The furnishings looked new and the bathroom had a decent shower. I dined both evenings in the restaurant which I enjoyed with good dishes at reasonable prices.
