Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The location is very good to Cita Alta and to the city centre, however, if you need to go to the airport late night or very early in the morning, there is no good transportation. The nearest bus is 20 min on foot from there.
Staff and the installations are excellent. People are very friendly and helpful. The room were very neat and clean.

If I could say anything, it would be the Wifi, it was a bitt in and out, and the menu in the restraurant are only in italian, but no big deal, the staff will help :)
Really nice staff. The room was big and it smeld really good, like vanilla cake :) wery good breakfast and pizza. Short walk to the old town Alta and short walk to shopping streat and caffés. I would recomend to a friend and everybody :)

Maybe a kettle for boiling water for tea drinkers would be useful, but we did well without it, because the kitchen is well-equipped
Great value for money, great facilities, peace, quiet, convenient location for exploring Piedmont. Recommendable place for people traveling in small groups (e.g. two couples, people with children)

Shower wouldn't heat up properly and was slightly weak
Breakfast was really good, bed was really comfortable and room was spacious and clean. Hotel manager was really lovely and accommodated our late arrival. Good location opposite a great gelato shop and close to everything you'd need

Needs mosquito nets, this is fundamental in a hot and humid summer like Bergamo's. In one of the rooms there is a strong mechanical sound coming from the bathroom or AC on a regular basis. In another room the toilet water runs every 5 minutes. Free parking doesn't belong to hotel, you need to be lucky to find space
Has a very good restaurant. Affable service. Clean rooms. Good AC. Close to the city center.

Location was very nice, close to Citta Alta, and the center. We walked everywhere on foot, without buses. The room was small, but enough. Was quite at night. There is a nice restaurant with good food.

The lady at the reception seemed reserved and cold to me. I did not have a good feeling a first. However, the stuff during breakfast was very obliging and friendly :)
Everything was clean! The location was good to get to the old town of Bergamo.

The fact that it doesn't have a 24 hour reception, you need to call a number if you arrive after 10 PM and the guy answering doesn't really know much English and the communication is difficult.

We had to wait 30mins to get our rooms. The bathroom was a bit dirty but that was okay.
