We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

LatviaReception is located in the restaurant downstairs and the lady did not speak a single word in English. The hotel itself has 1 star, so the interior is pretty old and worn out.
It is a perfect location for visiting Bergamo Alta - a beautiful old town centre. The room was clean and had everything we needed for 1 night.

The biggest surprice for me was that no one replied to my messages nor did they consider giving me a refund (or partial one). That is no way to do business, shame.

Besides the comfort and clarity of the room, the staff was also really kind, they greeted us warmly with cappucino and juice. It was also helpful in the heat that the room had an air-conditioner.

New ZealandMy request for an extra bed was accepted via booking, then we didn't have an extra bed in the room. When I requested, I was moved to a room with an extra bed, it was nicer. The following day I needed to pay an additional 15€. Not much but still. Breakfast wasn't good.

This is a very cosy place in Bergamo. The hotel bears the mixture of old and new. The room was perfect with modern design and style and very good furniture. The breakfast was wonderful and the staff was welcoming and helpful. As for lication, it's just a 15-minute walk from the funicular station to the Città Alta.

SpainThe room smelled a little like sewage, there was a bunch of ants next to the bathroom and the window glass was a bit broken. Also, the rooms are not soundproof, we could hear people snoring in their rooms. In the middle of the night there was a bunch of guests who entered the hotel constantly doing lots of noise, which didn't allowed us to sleep very well, but that wasn't the hotels fault.
The hotel it's close to the Città Alta (15 minutes walk more or less), the receptionists who checked us in were kind and the breakfast was ok.
